I’ve stayed here before and had a wonderful experience but this last time wasn’t as great. I don’t know if the refrigerators in the rooms have changed but it wasn’t convenient to have a fridge that would only cool for two hours at a time. Shouldn’t have to push a button for it to kick on. After our second night we kindly asked if we could have a refresh of towels and we we returned the towels looked like they were just thrown on the couch. All the dirty/used towel still left on the bathroom floor. The trash was emptied but wasn’t replenished with new trash bags.

The property manager, Zac (no “h” on the end according to staff), REFUSED to talk to me because I used a third party (Orbitz) non-refundable reservation. The manager literally hid in the office. I was so enraged that I almost went behind the desk and almost called the police. As a Marriott Bovoy member, I have never been so disrespected. This is because the staff and manager have ZERO accountability, in their minds, to reservations booked through an agency. I will NEVER use Marriott again. I will now always book Hilton.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Packaged oatmeal, no whole wheat or whole grain options, no cream cheese for bagels, coffee was not a good flavor. Other than breakfast, the room was great, staff very kind and helpful, location is convenient. A number of good restaurants/fast food options, Walmart, Staples, etc. Would definitely stay there again. This was actually my 2nd time staying here.

Check in was quick. There were 0 luggage carts- and I was put on the third floor! Get to room- thermostat was set in air and 60 degrees! Sat down at desk- desk chair was broke and wobbly tipping me out. No one refilled the shampoo bottle in shower. It’s was an ehhh stay for two days

So so stay wouldn't come back

We stayed for a couple of days the ptact unit air filters were dirty .nthe unit in itself was noisy specially at 2 am. Had to adjust the cover to make it stop . The sliding door to the bathroom woul.get stuck . The stand up shower didn't seal very well so water got all over the bathroom floor.

Property was well maintained and nice. Staff was missing from the front desk a good amount and you had to wait for someone to show up to get help. Fridges in room are in a 2 hour timer and will auto shut off so be aware if you have any items that you want to keep cold. Manager said it was a company energy saving initiative and there is no way to override it. Pool was a pool.. nothing special. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping was by request.

Just close enough to the beach without the expense

The stay was excellent. The air blows COLD! I personally loved ut as Iam often hot. I had a small issue with the TV, it was reported on a Sunday so i knew nothing would be resolved due to low maintenance staff. I checked in Monday morning and the woman at the front (forgot her name) was a big help. She got me in another room quickly, and went the extra mile to bring me a luggage rack and my new key to my door. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. They also have comfy beds and the couch was comfortable too. I especially loved all of the lighting in the room. You could choose what lights or lamps to use, it wasn't the typical one switch. I saw the pool but did not use it, as I spent time at the beach nearby. The pool area was small and without a hot tub which is normally my preference. There are outdoor seating spaces in the front and on the side of the hotel. The one in the front has a firepit. Breakfast is the typical pre-cooked items and a waffle making station. They have 3 waffle irons which helps move the line. The staff remain visible and consistently refilling items and cleaning the area. The hotel is in a hotel district so several hotels are grouped together. Just around the corner is Walmart and a few other retail places that are helpful when traveling.
