The view was seriously amazing but everything else was pretty bad. They really need to update their rooms and clean them. There was a hole in ceiling which caused a 10 in long gecko to come into our room along with many little ones. There was no bedding other than a simple sheet on the bed. I would recommend staying there only if the price is cheap and you are in backpacker mode.

Beachside Chill

This Thai family owned endeavor was always present and provided useful information whenever possible. Moreover the resort was within seconds of the main part of one of the more beautiful beaches in the World!

Hotel was overbooked kregen niet de kamer waarvoor we hebben betaald. Bagage werd niet naar de kamers gebracht moesten overstijgen hellingen en trappen met bagage naar de kamers. Ben 64 jaar oud was een beetje te veel van het goede.Na een heftig gesprekje met het management Hebben ze wel veel goed gemaakt met heel lekker eten te serveren We hadden 2 dagen geboekt maar zijn maar 1 dag gebleven

Far from the madding crowd

I really like this eclectic place and the staff.. There has been so much effort put into building this folly and it has a slightly surreal feel because of this.. It reminded me somehow of the house from the Garp book but that was more a feeling than any particular aspect.. Our room had a fantastic view and I would love to be sn artist or write a book here.. Nice, relatively quiet beach..

Établissement ne correspondant pas du tout à la description faite. Nous pensons qu'il y a eu un changement de propriétaire et les nouveaux n'ont jamais du tenir une affaire. Ne savent pas cuisiner et le service laisse plus qu'à désirer. Le dernier jour nous n'avions personne pour le petit déjeuner ni pour la remise de clé. De plus il s'agit sûrement d'un établissement musulman puisque aucun alcool ni porc, et le beurre très souvent Rancé. À DÉCONSEILLER.

Perfect for solitude but

Very nice staff and owner. Perfect for solitude and adventure. Views from the balcony are amazing. Also have monkies around which is cool. However, rooms are not for the standard of what you would want in a hotel, especially the toilets and shower.

Inte för oss

Hotellet som vi kom till var inte det hotell som vi bokat. Rummen såg mer eller mindre ut som på bilderna, men reception/restaurangen gick knappt att känna igen - mycket rörigt och mycket stökigt. Personalen var dock trevlig, men hade väldigt svårt att förstå engelska. Som vi har förstått det har ett ägarbyte vid årsskiftet som har inneburit en hel del ändringar. En sådan ändring är att alkohol inte längre serveras. Vi hade bokat 2 rum för 6 nätter men valde att bo någon annanstans.

Lousy resort, alot of problem, staff bad English

kind staff but bad communication, nice view though. Overall had a decent stay but with problems. Food is horrible! Wifi dont work

Vacker och lugnt.

Vackert läge och bra bad men långt till allt. Med andra ord ett hotell för den som vill ha lugn och ro. Trevlig personal god mat och stora portioner. -Dyr transport därifrån. -hård sång.

Beautiful Location - Terrible Accommodation

The location was awesome and views incredible but could not outweigh the filthiness of our room. We booked the "standard room". Turns out it was a bamboo bungalow but no problem; we love camping and 'roughing' it. It appeared as though the room had never been cleaned and was falling apart. Dirt lined the floors, dust covered the tables, bugs crawled from the crevices, and the bathroom was like something from a horror film. We asked for the room to be cleaned and it wasn't. Asked again the following day and while better, it was still not worth staying another sleepless night so we checked out early.

Bamboo bay - amazing views - a com lacked TLC

We had to upgrade to AC rooms it was very stuffy - no love in the way the rooms were left - shower was broken - amazing views and probably fine for back packer - could be great but needs a bit more TLC - bar great x

Ursprünglich und ruhig!

Je nach Hütte muss man etwas kraxeln. Die Bucht ist paradiesisch, Schnorcheln jedoch eher mäßig. Die Anlage ist lauschig am Hang mit Superblick zum Wasser. Wir waren schon 4 mal dort. Das spricht für sich!

Blev förflyttade till annat boende

Vi blev förflyttade till intill-liggande hotell pga trasigt tak i den bungalow där vi bokat. Var en nedgradering så fick tillbaka kontanter för mellanskillnaden.

Uncommon,Unspoiled a little Unclean. We loved it!

My family loved the Bamboo bay Resort! The food was great and a good combination of western and thai that the whole family could enjoy. The staff was always attentive and helpful. The room wasnt great,just bare bones but,you don't go there for the room. The beach was amazing!It had rocky areas for snorkeling and non rocky areas for swimming. We saw monkeys, starfish, urchins, monitor lizards, just to name a few. We also walked to the nearby national park and enjoyed a day hiking and exploring.

On the beach but fan room does not have a good view. Bathroom is very smelly. The only saving grace is the courteous staff.

Fredelig idyll

Et særegent familiedrevet hotell bestående av flere hytter. Mange trapper til flere av de. Hyttene var relativt enkle men koselige og badene ganske røffe. Men dusjet fikk man. Nær naturen , aper på taket og nattelyder var en del av pakken. Beliggenhet er Super fin. Maten kjempegod. Familien/personalet service Minded selv om engelsk kunnskapen var noe varierende . Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

jolie vue

Hôtel surplombant une très jolie plage peu fréquentée. La vue des bungalows est très belle. Les bungalows auraient besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement mais dans l'ensemble c'était propre. Pas de climatisation dans la bungalow que nous avions choisi mais un ventilateur au plafond qui a fait l'affaire. L'hôtel propose un bar restaurant mais vous pourrez également trouver à manger dans quelques restaurants sur la plage.

Nicht das Geld wert.

Die Anlage ist traumhaft gelegen und war bestimmt auch mal ein empfehlenswerter Ort. Allerdings ist alles verwohnt kaputt und die Mitarbeiter sind gleichgültig bis unfreundlich. Noch dazu ist das Zimmer einfach dreckig gewesen. Fazit: Nicht ansatzweise das Geld wert. Es gibt auf Ko Lanta genügend Alternativen, die günstiger sind und mehr Komfort bieten.

Un coin de paradis avec un coucher de soleil à couper le souffle le personnel est à vos petits soins et ils sont très amicaux la mer est calme et on peut entendre les oiseaux la journée la nourriture y est très bonne surtout les petits déjeuners avec des fruits frais

Great location! Restaurant set on the rocks overlooking the bay. Beautiful beach, and views up into the jungle! Could have stayed here for a longer period if we have had the time!

Ett trevligt, lite avskilt ställe

Hotllet består av stugor på en bergssluttning. Branta jobbiga trappor. Stranden nedanför är klippor men cirka 100 meter bort ligger en utmärkt sandstrand. Lugnt på stranden. Gratis wifi, men den fungerade inte i min stuha, som låg en bit ovanför reception/restaurang. Apor klängde i träden utanför terrassen till min stuga och det sprang små ödlor på väggarna innonhus och i badrummet (utan riktigt varmt vatten) fanns det ibland stora larver och små grodor. Men det var inget som jag stördes av. Vill man ha nattliv och nära till restauranger, barer och shopping bör man välja ett annat ställe. Vill man ta det lugnt och bada och sola kan man ta det här stället. Hotellet ordnade en för resans längd billig transfer från flygplatsen i Krabi och fixade transport om man ville någonstans, så ven om det låg lite avsides kunde man ta sig till andra ställen.

Lage super, Bugalows überholt...

Die Lage und die Aussicht von Restaurant und Bungalows war wirklich super. Allerdings ist die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Zimmer teilweise nicht akzeptabel. Das erste Zimmer haben wir gewechselt, da Schimmel an der Decke war und ebenfalls kein Doppelbett, sondern zwei Einzelbetten im Zimmer waren. Außerdem hat die Toilette getropft, sodass immer eine Pfütze im Bad war. Daraufhin haben wir einen anderen Bungalow mit Klimaanlage bekommen, ohne Aufpreis. Dieser Raum war zwar nicht wirklich schöner, aber kein Schimmel und ein Doppelbett. Das Restaurant war im Gegensatz zu den Zimmern schön eingerichtet...auch der Strand ist super schön. Motorroller kann man auch direkt bei der Unterkunft ausleihen und Wäsche kann man auch waschen lassen.
