For the price, compared to other places in Whitehorse, the destination family hotel is a spectacular bargain. More than that, it's not a bad place to stay quality wise. You're not going to get four star accommodations, but compared to what you spend, I believe that the property more than excels.

The hotel is in a rather rough part of town. No hair dryer. No clock and limited power outlets. The beds were adequate and the price was lower than most others in the area but I probably would not stay there again.

The fitted sheet was on the bed sideways. There was no top sheet. No wash cloths in the bathroom. All the lamps were unplugged. There was a dull roaring noise, possibly from the laundromat next door. On hotels.com, the price was 101 CAD. We were charged over $200.00.
