Lovely historic facility located across from Savane Park and about a city block from the beach. Breakfast was delicious with everything we wanted. There was a slight problem with a power outage for 2-3 hours. It helps to understand/speak a little French, but staff do ok in English, so don’t let that stop you from enjoying this hotel.

I love the location especially since it’s easy access to the ferry terminal, just 5 minutes walk to L ‘Imperatrice hotel. All amenities is in walking distance also the beach. I recommend improvement with the breakfast menu. Overall I’d a pleasant stay except for the language barrier if you only speak English.

The Beach was less than a 5 minute walk. There was no bed frame, which means the box springs were on the floor. Something one doesn't expect at a hotel.

This gives you early 19th century French/British vibes. The decor is dated. You literally have to use a traditional key to get in your room. They did not provide us with face clothes for bathing. Old heritage hotel, very classy, I liked it. Tidy rooms and hallways, nice personnel at the reception, as well ad the bar, the breakfast room and at the cleaning ladies. Yes, it is in a quite loud surrounding, but it's downtown and in the carribeans, so what would you expect. Got a free upgrade to a double room with balcony to the street/park, there was something going on, but nothing extraordinary for a friday night and there was no disturbing the peace after midnight. so absolutely fine. only con: the breakfast could need an updated variety and a bit more cleaniness as there were some dead flies inside the milk can. But except from that: Go for it!
