The facility really is grand. The front desk staff were wonderful. On the other hand we arrived late in the afternoon, but had to wait for our room, along with a few other guests. We weren’t happy, either, that there was no place to have breakfast, except for a grab and go that we had to pay for to take back to our room.

Unfortunately we were on the first floor underneath what sounded like a group of kids with no parents watching them, playing hockey and running and jumping for hours to the point that it sounded like they were going to fall through the celing. It was extremely loud and It went on early in the morning and one night until after 11pm. If we were ever to consider staying there again, it would only be on the top floor to avoid what was a very noisy and unrestful stay.

The hotel was beautiful walking in, and the front desk staff were so friendly. The room was outdated however, and the air conditioning didn’t work. They had a standing fan in the closet we used, but the room was very stuffy.

The studio unit with the kitchenette was great. The mattresses could use an upgrade, but not bad for a couple of nights. We were looking forward to the outdoor hot tubs but unfortunately they were closed for repair. Pool and sauna were really nice, and outdoor area with propane fire pits was a bonus.

The location was good, but the hotel itself was a let down. The room lacked basic things : there was NO socket to plug an USB, no extra bedding or towels. We were only given 2 coffee pods (one decaf) for 2 days. There was no housekeeping (unless we had to request it which we were not aware of). Lumpy pillows. So in the end, all these little things added up and made stay unpleasant. Also, there was too much food smell in hallways (I guess from everyone cooking in their rooms). The nicest area in a hotel was a bar and restaurant; looked recently renovated.

Property looks great from outside, but maintenance and upkeep are lacking in rooms. We did enjoy the pool and sauna. Restaurant was good and has great atmosphere. With some updates( fresh paint, bigger tvs, newer unchipped furniture, pool tiles lifting)and better attention to details while cleaning(dirty bedskirt, walls had wierd splatter, not fresh toiletries because they were half emptied) , this place can be amazing. If your looking for cheap prices and not picky, then this will be just fine.
