There was no microwave, cutlery, plates or bowls inside the room. The room itself was lovely and the shower was freat. Water hammer noise from the adjoining unit was loud at times. Staff were.made aware. Although there were some shortcomings, I would happily return to this property.

The property was convenient to town. However, the shower head and water pressure were terrible. The allocated parking spots were horrible and if you didn't park properly then you wouldn't fit (or you could be like the person who took my and their park so i didn't have anywhere to park). Being on the highway it was noisy but not unbearable. Not sure I'd book again.

Best Western The Henry Parkes is delightfully situated near in the middle of Tenterfield and is walking distance to the local ammenities. They have a great restaurant onsite and the food is well worth trying. The overall service was very good and we cannot fault it all.

As in all motels you have to use the bathroom/toilet to fill the jug for a cup of tea. Unhygienic! Not sure how this passes health regulations but it's been the same for ever. Also the lighting was too dim to read. No comfortable chairs to watch TV etc. Toilet was not all that clean around the bowl and the sink taps dripped. The car park was a bit hit and miss. Maybe you should paint room numbers on the car parks. Basically it was ok for the price and the staff and service were fine. Breakfast was good and on time. Well, you did ask me.
