Check in stunk, “literally “. You have to walk through the casino to get to the guest check in. If that wasn’t bad enough, they required my wife’s id in order to complete check in. The staff person checking me in had no idea why that was required and said for safety. I was going to leave but my cancellation could not be processed until the next day due to a manager not being on site. I recommend that they provide directions for the hotel guest check in by a path other than through the casino. Also educate staff on the reason for policies so they don’t have to don’t have to adlib bs responses.

The check in process is very very slow and troublesome. It should be more efficient. They should prepare things in advance since I have a reservation. They have a break without staffs. The odd part was all the noise coming from the upstairs room, running back and forth, stomping around ,this started around 10PM for a few minutes but then settled down until about 2:30AM then it sounded like a bunch of kids playing tag. I went to investigate the sound and found no one in the room upstairs, the windows shades were open and no one in the room and no one around the walkway but the running noise went passed me but I could see nothing. I went back to bed and laughed for a minute and fell back to sleep. WHAT WAS THAT?

Unacceptable! No hot or cold water in our bath rooms. The swimming pool and hot tub are not usable. Half of the outlets didn't work in our replacement rooms. Dead bugs and toenail clippings under the bed. The staff at Saddle West acted like complaints were not a big deal and did nothing unless pressured to do so by guests. No coffee, no microwave, no refrigerator, and in our case no running water or half the outlets for phone charging etc.
