The motel is older but well maintained. I would rate it as a 2.5 to 3 out of 5 for overall quality but a 5 out of 5 for friendly staff who were very accommodating. The breakfast was good with some good choices cereals, bagels, pancakes, fruit, and fresh ( still warm) hard boiled eggs. In the end I would stay here again when in Truro.

1. Renovated bathroom not finished. Electric heater rusty, should have been replaced or painted. 2. Booked room for 2 people, one soap (size of Tooney), one shampoo, etc., one face cloth. Thinest toilet paper in the world. 3.Wear ear plugs in the morning, when your neighbour showers it is really loud. 4. Breakfast so so, not great but eatable. Property under new owership, the room was clean, the owner was pleasant and helpful. but for the price I expected more.

On arrival staff were very pleasant and professional. Our room was neat, clean and well presented. Only issue I had was the bay windows curtain would not close because the window A/C wouldnt allow it but it didnt deter me from having a great night there. 5 stars!!!

The bathroom in our room wasn't upgraded to the degree of the room, just needed extra care to paint, and something on the electric heater in bathroom. The faucet in the shower was put on wrong so hot was not and almost off was hot.

The room was old, not very clean as there was dirty prints all over the walls, plaster filled in holes, looked like mold on the curtains and there was black mild string the air conditioner. I actually went out and bought a sheet, pile cases and a blanket to sleep there as I didn’t trust the bed being clean.

This motel had old awards for being the best regional motel. I doubt they would get these awards today. The reception and hospitality was lacking on check-in. The property is outdated. The Breakfast was not good. When a person took a shower in an adjacent room we thought a 747 was coming through the wall.
