Somehow my reservation, through Hotels, didnt make it to their computer. However, i had a great room tucked into a corner, recessed area. It was very quiet and private.

A good inexpensive spot to stay overnight!

Ery clean room and pleasant, friendly staff. Motel is older and not a beautiful area lace but the price is great, room was clean. I found the bed too soft but that’s me. Everything worked and check-in was fast and staff efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Place was very quiet even though it is right on St. Albert Trail (Hwy2) and our room faced the highway!

Disappointed that past service not repeated

I stayed one week. This was the fourth time I had stayed there as I come to St. Albert to visit family. I had been a satisfied customer on earlier visits. This time on 2 of the 7 nights, the occupant upstairs stomped up and down the room until 3am which made it impossible to sleep. I reported this. I was required to use a coat hangar to start the AC unit each time ( I shut it off when I was not in the room to conserve energy) AND i did not complain. I asked only that my room be cleaned every 2 days to conserve time and energy. Yet when I requested an extra hour to check out, I was told that I had to pay $20 plus tax. I indicated to the employee that I found this unfair, He had been the one to whom I had reported the sleepless nights.

We asked if it had a fridge with freezer. They said yes. No freezer. We asked for late checkout. Costs $20 per hour. There was so much dust blocking the bathroom fan. The lamp shade was completely trashed. Empty beer cans all over outside. Very cheap motel. I believe people live there not just a short stay site

I had like to know the real price in canadian dollars and not in US dollars. It is too expensive for a motel of this standing, furniture needs changing, perforated curtains.

Positives were that the bedding and linens were clean and that the wifi worked well. Negatives were that the toilet did not flush properly and was modified to decrease the amount of water. We had to find a bathroom out of our room. Barely any outlets worked or held a plug. Shower handle fell off when used. We turned the heat off but had to buy a fan because the place would not cool off. The place is in dire need of some renovations and updates.

Budget wise motel

Along the lines of you "get what you pay for", I got what I paid for, in that it was the least cost accomodation in the area and therefore my expectatioons were not high. The basic room was just that, a place to sleep for the night, with a good tv. It may not have been great, but it was not bad either and I compliment the staff for being friendly and for fullfilling my requests, while commending them on presenting a clean room, in fact cleaner than some 4 star hotels I have stayed at. The staff do their best with what they have. If you want to keep your costs even lower, utilize the provided fridge and microwave, which were sterile clean, as was the bathroom and even the tv remote control!

-The staff were exceptional. The motel itself is somewhat run down, but you get what you pay for. As I was only staying to sleep for one night, it was okay. -The room was incredibly hot, in spite of the outside temperature (4), as the AC wasn't accessible or didn't work. Otherwise, the stay was fine, and the staff were exceptional. They more than made up for any building issues. -Given similar circumstances, I would stay again. (7/10)
