The room was spacious, clean with most facilities needed. There was however a tired run down look to the rooms and outside areas and some clients were very noisy outside until gone 11pm unchecked by management

I pay for extra 2 guests, but the room is only ready for 4 person. The sofa bed was not prepared, and even the bedsheets inside were dirty. No extra pillows, blankets, or toiletries were provided. After sleeping there for one night, my skin became itchy and I developed a rash the next day. Under these circumstances, the hotel should not charge an extra guest fee. In previous stays at other hotels in Australia, although an extra guest fee was charged, the bed and all bedding were properly prepared and clean.

We stayed for 2 nights at the motor inn in Batmans Bay. The motor inn is a short walk from the main shopping area. Our room was large but then there were only two of us and it would be tight if there were 3 people. The motor inn is very dated and a lack of upkeep in the general yard area. There were tall weeds everywhere and debris in the pool and not inviting. The rooms were very dated and only updated where needed with lots of dust on windows and ledges. The towels need to be replaced as they may have been clean but were totally covered in thread pulls.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The rooms were also quiet with the windows closed despite being on the main drag. Only down side was that on our second night and the day of checkout we had no hot water so couldn't take a shower! Reception didn't open until 08:00am and we left well before that so couldn't do anything about it. Otherwise a good place stay, walking distance to shops etc and right across from the water.

When I asked about the air con’s operations the Manager without hesitation, immediately came & checked it with me - great service. This is a stand- alone facility, not part of a big Chain, so the Manager should be congratulated. Great value for money.
