Booked for one night after a day of golf and it was perfect. Extremely clean. May seem weird to mention but the water pressure was great and the bathroom/shower area was very clean. Staff was super friendly at check in and the dogs were sweet!! Would definitely stay here again!

Kevin and Tonya have created a very special motel. Kevin is on the local tourism board and knowledgeable about the area. Both are nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and don't break the bank. Convenient location. They offer locally-roasted coffee in the morning or a nice selection of tea and have a nice partnership with a local restaurant nearby for breakfast (large portions and delicious). I stayed here on a work trip, but would come back with family. This place reminded me of why family run motels were so popular for a time.. and would be again if they were all run like this. I definitely encourage you to support this great locally-owned business.

Its a nice place to stay. Clean and fresh,nice room and nice beds.Good hosts. Beutiful property.small play ground for the little ones. Two nice stationary park grills for cooking,charcoal or some wood..Its nicer than a few that I've stayed in in Manistee. I give it 4 stars

Amazing gem of a hotel.

Staff was all super friendly. We ended up checking in right at 10pm and there we were treated just as if we were there at 2pm. :) Cute little putt putt golf and mini playground for kids. Rooms are very spacious.

We used this place as a base for our visiting many different places around the area each day. Very close to Onekama and Arcadia where we did a lot of hiking. The breakfast discount at Lakeside Cafe in Bear Lake was used every morning. We were in room 112 and unfortunately the dead bolt did not line up properly with the door; therefore we were not able to secure our door with that extra safety precaution.

Location and view was excellent. Property needs some significant upgrades. Faucets are old, stink was stained, bed light didn’t work. Seemed very clean. Had to move the bed to find a n outlet for my CPAP machine. Staff was very friendly.
