The property was super cute and super easy to access, walking distance from everything. Stayed 2 nights and there was no one there overnight but staff was present during the early day to change towels, clean the room and more. The cleanliness was decent not a 10/10 but definitely not filthy, just clean. There is a small common area as well for a coffee and somewhere to relax other than your room. Overall I give it a 10/10 for the location and the experience we had overall.

The Guesthouse was OK. The room clean and the bed was good. But I had an incident with the check in process. I received an email with three codes. One to open the front door, one to open the door of the guest house and another for my room. The problem was that the door to the guest house would not open. There was a phone number to call so I did. The person answering the phone, instead of recognizing there was something wrong with the code, insisted I try the wrong code several times. I told the person about 3 or 4 times the code was maybe the problem, but instead of offering a new code, he kept insisting I was the one making the mistake when typing the code. He escalated the situation without a reason talking to me like if I were a child. This made me guess this incident might happen quite frequently and they assume automatically the guest is making the mistake, so I felt the person was not really listening to me. So, if anyone books, double check the codes.

I had an awesome stay at Pensión Donistiarra! Very comfortable and clean room, great small balcony to enjoy the charming pedestrian street outside... GREAT location, close to everything, especially the main bus station, great for day trips (I did Biarritz) and airport connections. The parking was discounted (very close by, also at bus station), which was a bonus.

The stay was fine. Central location. Quiet. Very clean. Comfotable. However, I did pay a deposit when booking. I was then charged full amount during our stay. Am now finding it difficlt/impossible to reclaim the money.

The only problem was not receiving entry/booking in email. Luckily, someone was there to allow entry. The pension was very quiet, clean and central. The shower was the best I've had, beating many 4 star hotels. Room small, but comfortable. Very good value. Thoroughly recommend.

Description of hotel was not accurate. Staff at check-in spoke only Spanish. The yard where we had planned to chill with our friends did not even exist. The room was very small. However the location was perfect and the cleaning was really perfect

location very good, amenities marginal. lack of any staff makes this hotel impossible. everything is done electronically with codes they send, but if you don't have connectivity because you are abroad you are dead in the water. While i was there ( three days ) at least 15 people included myself was stranded with no way to get in because we had not received the access codes, which they only send a few hours before you are due to arrive Expedia has done a miserable job in advising that there is no service at hotel location . you get a contact phone with your access codes which you did not recieve .
