What a gem! We were very happy to stay one night here between the drive from Christchurch to Blackball, where we started a multi day hike. It was the cleanest place I’ve seen for a long time, heater was turned on for us before we arrived, and the breakfast provision very generous. The owner was very friendly showing us the shared lounge, which was great to use. We would have loved to stay longer so will be back!

Lovely rooms that are kept in a spotless condition. Lots of little extras provided in your room to eat and drink. The owner is very friendly and more than happy to help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is also great that it is pet friendly. Lake Brunner Longhouse far exceeded our expectations! The facilities are standard and the room and bathroom are not huge, but they are more than adequate and spotlessly clean. The location is wonderfully rural, but only a few minutes drive from Moana. The service from Lisa was outstanding - so friendly and accommodating. The supplies were well above average, with adequate toiletries, a great coffee and tea selection, as well as excellent and generous Continental breakfast provisions. And all this for a great price. We are quite picky, but can highly and unreservedly recommend this B&B.
