Really friendly staff and the bar is a great social space. Room was more than big enough, nice and clean and warm. (I travel a lot with work and know the importance of a good shower, and the shower was definitely good!) Location is fantastic being in the old town and just down the road from the castle. Beautiful hotel and location. Staff friendly but lack of communcation and so confusion upon check out with upgrade. We upgraded to the Bruce suit, which was a beautiful room but the batroom let it down slightly and in need pf some tlc. Otheriwse wouldve been 5 stars and fully recommended.

The hotel is a great place. Parking is convenient at a cost but not unreasonable. Reception was very efficient and quick, we upgraded to a deluxe king which was great. All the facilities are spot on and a great touch was the deicer in reception, it was very cold. Breakfast was really good, nice variety, very tasty with excellent service. Handy for all the sights and good restaurants.
