Excellent hotel, great amenities, good location grate breakfast.

Ideally situated for the castle and jail up hill and the town down hill. Room was comfortable, large and quiet at the back of the hotel. Parking was busy at the front of the hotel but we parked easily at the back. Breakfast was excellent: both cooked and cold selections available.

Beautiful hotel just down the hill from the castle. Staff was extremely helpful. We were going to leave our bags and explore until check in at 4. I was not feeling well and upon learning that they gave us our room early so I could lie down for which I am extremely grateful.

Poor maintained, very expensive, typical Scottish worn out hotel. £900 two night not including breakfast or parking !!! Very poor on all counts. Comfortable bed to be positive !

The hotel appears opulent and high quality and the communal areas, restaurant, and hotel absolutely were. The room however was not great. Poorly fitted blinds that did little to hold out light, and the worst hotel bed I’ve had. Very hard bed and a very poor nights sleep unfortunately. It really let down the whole stay.

Amazing hotel, conveniently situated in Stirling close to restaurants and station. Situated on a one way system. Useful carpark with reasonable charges. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast buffet and hot breakfast is amazing. Amenities very good, great to a fan in the room, shame that the hotel internet was slow in my room had better speed using my phone. Would return should I revisit Stirling.

8/10 Very good

We stayed here for 3 nights and we're really happy with the hotel. It was a great base for us as we spent most of our time out exploring Stirling and Edinburgh but was a lovely hotel with super friendly staff. I'd say the only slight issue with our room was the window behind the bed as the shutters don't fully keep the light out but that was only an issue for me as a light sleeper. Would definitely stay again!

8/10 Very good

Hotel was nice and room was spacious and clean, we noticed that the bar area was quiet and no one in the restaurant, mybe they could do some offers on food to entice customers in also if it had some entertainment in the bar we might have stayed in, only gripe I have is having to pay for parking in a hotel that should be free,

This hotel is in a great location. The staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable - but with worn carpet, dated, well lived in furniture. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom however appears brand new and was large with a great shower. I would stay here again.

6/10 Good

We spent 2 nights here. The bed was excellent. The shower was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. Parking was fine, at a cost. Proximity to the old town was excellent with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel looks good but the room was very dated with chipped paint & worn carpet, definitely not anywhere near the standard of other 4 star hotels we have stayed. The room lacked any charm to speak of and is in need of a total refurbishment. It is obvious by the information displayed that the hotel really wants you to book direct by offering free upgrades, free welcome drink and not having to pay to upgrade your breakfast. This just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I'm glad I didn't book a third night.
