Great spot for a beach getaway.

Room was very nice, clean. Extremely limited parking, blocked by others vehicles. Very noisy until 1 am on a Tuesday night. Convenient to Short Sands beach.

Great spot! Are at the restaurant and the food was very good. Room was clean and spacious. Location was perfect to the beach. Owner was very accommodating and accessible. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent Location; Decent Lodging

Quaint inn with an excellent location, steps away from the beach. The room was comfortable and a generous size and the restaurant below was great. However, the cleanliness could have been improved. Upon checking in, the floor was sandy, there was a stain on the bedding, and we had many ants/spiders in the room throughout our stay.

Jimmy was the owner and very very helpful. I highly recommend it.! He also owns property on Long Sands Beach. I think it's a Grand Motel? I'm hoping I can get information on that.
James, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Rooms are upstairs from their restaurant and bar where the food and drinks are great! You never hear noise from downstairs. The owner is very involved and responsive if there are any issues!

Excellent location. Room was clean. Parking was tricky - tiny lot behind hotel/restaurant shared with staff. Repeatedly trapped in space, had to call front desk to move cars around. Restaurant/bar open late. Dance club and karaoke— which is amazing for adults, but not for staying there with kids. Would def return as the location was great for the beach and downtown.

Charm, Location, Clean!

Check in was a little confusing but everyone was so nice! (We had to find the host at the restaurant). That said, the room was cozy, comfortable and SPOTLESS clean! This is an older building with New England charm that is beautifully clean and lovely. Location cannot be better, as it’s right in the commercial center of York. We ate at the restaurant twice and everyone was lovely. Will absolutely recommend this Inn!

This place is all about location. It's directly across the street from Short Sands Beach. They have dining and a couple floors with full bars. Sometimes there's a few minute wait because they're busy but I got a table immediately. It can get loud but laid back vibe which is cool with me. Again though, the location sells it. Definitely recommend.

The sunset suite was wonderful. Great location and loved the balcony’s off the living room and bedroom. My two issues were how limited and confusing parking was. Nothing to put on your car and you’re crammed into this small lot making you scared to leave the spot if you had to. Also water pressure and temperature was terrible in the shower. The music from the bar down below is quite loud however I knew that going into making my reservation. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again. Wish I had discovered this place years ago rather than staying at other properties nearby

It was okay

Overall the Inn was good, but there were a few things we didn't love. The restaurant under the Inn was closed for the duration of our stay which we liked because there was no bar noise, but it made it difficult to find anyone to help us. There was one kid working at the Inn who we saw occasionally in the hallway and he always asked if we needed anything. He was great, but scarcely around. It took me a while to even find where to enter the Inn or know where to park when we arrived. The overall cleanliness of the room wasn't great. Our feet were black after walking around the room for a period of time and the inner shower curtain was covered in mildew. The bed linens were clean and the bed was comfy. One door out to the balcony was blocked by extra restaurant chairs and the other was very difficult to open and close. The location was perfect in reference to the beach, restaurants and shops and the room decor was nice.

2/10 Poor

We booked two rooms and canceled one of them early on by calling the inn. When we arrived they told us that we never canceled the second room and therefore we were charged for it. We were offered a free night stay for another time However they have a two night minimum. So we would still be out money. Freezer was filled with snow and we reported it immediately and we were told that the refrigerator would be changed out. The snow was cleaned out of the freezer but they didn’t change out the refrigerator. Had a cold shower the first morning I was there. When we checked in we were showed our room and given a key But that was it there was no information on how to contact anyone if something went wrong and we never saw anyone when we checked out I had to go searching for the number to find that out what to do.

We had the best time at Inn on the blues! The owners are wonderful! Everyone in town loves them. It is true that if you want to go to sleep before midnight on weekends, this may not be the place for you, but we loved everything about this place and will be back!
Will, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

This is not really an inn; it is a restaurant/night club
Anna, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was nice, bed was very uncomfortable and the third floor balcony wasn’t divided so you couldn’t leave any blinds open or doors open without worrying about other people walking in or in front of your door. Parking was very cramped.
Kristen, 2-night trip

Property was perfect for our vacation. Very clean, staff was great. Would stay there again.
Kimberly, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

It felt as though we were on our own at this property, as in there wasn't any staff around when needed. The room was also very poorly put together, with things falling apart left and right. Neither of the televisions worked, the light from the deck was so bright all night that it felt like it was daytime all night. There was so much dust on the fan it looked like it may have never been cleaned. Also, despite being Sunday and Monday night in October the noise from the bar was unbarable and made it impossible to sleep.
Coral, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The location was perfect and there are a ton of things to do in Downtown York. However, the entire stay, there was no hot water for the shower. There were a few of us, and we had to take cold showers every day, which was particularly brutal on a day where it was already cold. Also, the entire time, the television didn’t work. Of course we were there for the beach and location, but on small breaks and before bed, it’s always nice to catch a movie or something to watch. We did mention this, but it wasn’t fixed (or explained to why it wasn’t working). The staff that they have working the hotel are kind and want to do well; they made up the rooms nicely. The room was clean and had towels, but the cold showers and broken television were upsetting, particularly for how much it costs to stay here.

Took a while for the water to get hot in the shower. Once it did, it didnt stay hot.
The location of the Inn was fantastic. Right across the Street from Short Sands Beach.
