Great location in the middle of the national park. Main building had character and both dinner and breakfast were very good. Staff were really friendly and polite especially Chez(!) who was very positive and helpful. Lovely peace and quiet location. Enjoyed a walk around the grounds. Nice to see the Kangaroos near the lake from the balcony. The room was a good size. Love the size of the bathroom and shower. Nice view from the balcony. However the chairs on the balcony were so old and worn you are unable to use them they need replacing. Would be nice to have a tea towel to dry you cups after having tea or coffee. If you like a firm mattress then you are ok however it was too firm for me causing sore back and hips. It was a convenient place to stay to visit family so will be using them again in the future.

Cheap Rooms are dated, but that is reflected in the price. You cannot expect the Ritz when you're not paying for it.. Room was clean and comfy, Fresh linens and comfy bed. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Where the real value comes in is the setting. The serenity and beauty of your surroundings is second to none... Beautiful sunset with roos roaming around you and live music, while enjoying a meal and a bevy. AMBIENCE ++++++
