Diamond in the residence

The hotel is wonderful, on the outskirts of the forest with easy access to hiking and a playground. Only a 12-minute drive to Heidelberg’s Altstadt, their breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, air conditioning, huge tub and shower in the junior suite, beautiful Biergarten with a playground to occupy the kids....all reasons why we would choose this hotel every time possible when visiting Heidelberg!

Das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war sehr gut. Die FrĂŒhstĂŒckszeiten hĂ€tten etwas frĂŒher sein können. Nur mit GlĂŒck bekamen wir einen der AußenparkplĂ€tze am Freitag abend und Samstag Mittag. Aber Samstag nachts nicht. Der freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hat es uns dann ermöglicht einen Parkplatz in der Garage zu bekommen. Bewertung: ParkplĂ€tze sind rar und eng. Die Umgebung des Hotels gefiel uns nicht. Das im Bauhaus gehaltenen Stil sagte uns nicht zu.

Great service and kudos to Vlad!

The service was excellent, friendly and always personable. A special kudos to Vlad who went beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home and special. He spoke English, Russian and of course German, and gave us guidance in everything we requested. Accommodating three adults in one room is a challenge in most European hotels, but we found it easy here. Although the hotel is located outside the city center, it was a great place to begin our driving tours of locations nearby such as Strasbourg, Speyer and of course the city center Heidelberg. There was parking and it was a short hop to all major motorways. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Just for one night

First time for me in this hotel. Looking at the photos and reading the reviews I expected definitely a better structure. The hotel has no personality and the room I had wasn't in a good condition but enough clean. Inside there is a pretty good restaurant, I had dinner there and it was ok. Also the breakfast is ok. Anyway for one night it works.
