Room was very clean and staff were helpful.

The stay at Milford Motel is quite pleasant. The motel is family friendly, quiet, and clean, and the owner, a nice lady, is very attentive, informative and friendly. The view of river is a plus and there are great restaurants and places of interest nearby.

Motel along the Way

Staff was very friendly. Not very nice and not enough towels. Reminded me a bit of the motels I used to stay in with my parents when I was small. But, as mentioned before, the staff was very nice,

Plenty of room. Nice water pressure in the shower. Very nice little kitchen.

Great little spot! Owners very friendly!
Christopher, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This is a true motel. It is an older property with older fixtures however it is clean, freshly painted, the beds seemed new, the kitchen in working order. This is a great choice for those who are heading out or returning from camping. One weekday morning was quite loud with workers leaving starting at 4am. This motel is a good value. PS the river is hidden behind trees and hedges, so don’t expect a panoramic view.

Very welcoming and attentive staff room was perfect for our needs 🙂
Heidi, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The river view was beautiful, and the room was a comfortable size for our stay. However, we did notice that the cleanliness could be improved, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen areas. We were also given a "clean" towel that appeared to have a bloodstain, which was concerning. We hope these issues can be addressed, as the location and setting have a lot of potential.
Kayla, 3-night trip

The bed was very comfortable and resulted in a good sleep.

Nice large room and kitchen. Friendly owner.
Janet, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a kitchenette. Very clean and neat. Only thing we were disappointed with was the lack of the river view due to shrubbery and wooded growth out our window, but would happily stay there again !!

Wonderful country-cottage like charm

This motel has a beautiful old-world cottage charm. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked a river, which was an excellent place to enjoy our morning coffee. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. I loved supporting a family owned small motel, and everything about our stay was charming. The parking is convenient and the place is dog-friendly. Unlike other soul-less chains, this place barely charges anything for a dog ($10). I would definitely stay here again.

No-frills, but clean & safe

A bit run down, but in good condition. The room was clean, comfortable and safe. You could hear the next door neighbors a bit, but it didn’t disturb us. Nice, friendly staff. No-frills place, but great with a kitchenette in the room and a small balcony overlooking the river.
Anna M, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This motel is very unique. It's a motel that pride itself on cleanliness, friendly, is not a modern motel. Checking in is all fashion way. You get a regular key on a room no.tag. Very clean. Housekeeping was exceptionally great. Only fault i found was the bed. Was very soft.
Michael, 6-night trip

8/10 Very good

Really liked the comfort of the bed. My wife has back pain due to spinal problems and she found the bed very comfortable. Check-in was initially a bit questionable as it was not certain if I had a reservation although one had been made a week earlier. It was eventually found - all good.
David, 1-night trip

Dated but we'll maintained

The Motel is dated but we'll maintained and very clean. No odd smells either. The air conditioner did produce a bit of an odor at times, but that's common for window type a/c units.
Jean, 1-night trip

Quaint little getaway!

Jane was wonderful. She even brought us extra supplies without us needing to ask. The room was the perfect size unlike most motels with limited space to move about. The motel has been around for a long time and upkeep was great. The ability to adjust the room temperature was also perfect. The view of the river was great. Wish it was summer I bet the big pines and river are just beautiful. Welcomed our lab with no problems. Would recommend!
Jennifer, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The property needs some attention to the small details. More lights near the bed, and some USB ports available.
James, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

We reserved a room at this motel based on the high ratings on the Expedia website. When we got there and went in we found it to be very run down. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them and we could hear a small animal in the ceiling. It was way over priced for the condition it was in.
Shelley, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This was more like a 2-bedroom apartment (with 3 beds) than a motel. One bedroom was its own room, with a desk and a window overlooking the river. The rest was an open plan with 2 beds. Recliner chair, comfy chair, TV, full kitchen with table and chairs, patio with 2 chairs. The river view is greatly obstructed by trees, but they were pretty and this is Maine. Owner recommended Peppers Landing where we had the best seafood of our trip. The Main Street is a bit busy, rather noisy for walks but it was nice to sit on the deck and read a book. Owners gave it a personal, small town feel when you checked in. Highly recommended for the price.
