The Walleye Inn is a decent value for the money. No frills or breakfast but the room was nice. The room had just the basics but was nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was nice and comfortable to sleep in. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Good place for a short stay

This is fine if all you need is a place to spend the night. The clerks were friendly, the breakfast was OK, and the room was adequate. No gym, no pool, no frills, but OK for an overnight stay. The tub drained very slowly--that was the only issue with the room.

It was quiet and clean. Seems they are updating with new flooring, paint and new bed (very comfortable) and dresser/countertop. But, there were no chairs in the room and only one bedside table for a king bed.

Nice place to stay for if just needing a nice place to sleep. Room was clean and big. Note” the property charges your card as soon as you book. It isn’t supposed to charge you until your stay.” I cancelled a night and my card was charged already so I’m waiting for a refund.

There were no chairs in the room and very limited ability to hang cloths or towels up. Consequently everything had to go on the floor. The rooms were big enough to accomodate chairs and additional hanger space and a rack for a suitcase.

No staff on duty from 8pm to 8am.No continental breakfast. However, it's understandable in today's climate of people unwilling to work. I have no issue with the hotel and it's services and plan to stay there again.

We were told we might have been scammed upon arrival. Lady said it can take a few hours for the system to register our booking and wouldn’t give us our room incase we got scammed on the site. So we had to find some where else to sleep

If you are going to rent out rooms,they should be completely ready. The room was recently sheetrocked, but not taped, mudded or painted. Some outlets were still not attached to the walls.

Bait and switch

Booked hotel room for $99 when we checked in the clerk told us that they don’t honor 3rd party pricing and that our room instead would be $138/ night. Came as a shock to us. It was a noisy room with heavy traffic, no insulation, and a noisy fridge for the price.

For an economy hotel in the middle of nowhere… This hotel is a great option. I would say if you're hungry in the morning plan to find another way to fill your belly because the "continental breakfast" is a little lacking.
