That room was spotless! New furniture and fixtures, plenty of clean towels and sheets. Indoor pool and sauna were well maintained. Location was perfect in town, only one block from the restaurants and a theater.

Everything was very nice. The staff is friendly, the rooms appear very clean and kept up although our feet did get black. We had no problem with parking and the hotel is located in a perfect spot, walking distance to everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Haven't stayed in a "motel" in a long time but the Canyon was very pleasant and very convenient. We walked all over Wellsboro, a charming, throw-back county seat in the wilds of north-central PA. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was super quiet even though it's on a busy road. We enjoyed our visit to Leonard Harrison State Park with gorgeous views of the Grand Canyon of PA, great walking trails, a lovely native garden for butterflies and birds, and it even has several free level 2 EV chargers.

The bed was amazing! The property is an unique motel and the lay-out is challenging at first, but I figured it out after a few laps. The location is fantastic with a grocery store and a quaint downtown within walking distance.

The location of this motel is absolutely perfect. You are in walking distance to the diner and the downtown area. The rooms were very clean and a nice size. The staff was so nice and very helpful whenever we had a question or needed their assistance. There is a large indoor pool that we used and was very clean and actually unexpected. If ever in the area again I would stay here without question.

Not a lot of extras but all the necessary needs for a traveler. Very clean room. Located right near center of town. An ice machine would have been nice.

Located centrally in downtown Wellsboro allowing us to walk to many things. The room was clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The amount of space was refreshing. It was great to be able to close the bedroom door when one of us was not ready for sleep. The full size fridge was a surprise. And the popcorn was a nice touch.

Clean room, staff very friendly, parking available at your room door. Indoor pool available. Short walk to restaurants, shops, drug store and grocery. The mattress was very firm but I still slept ok on it after walking around in the state park.
