The photos online are dated - property is not as well maintained as photos- rooms were ok - clean - cleaning staff were great. Person working front desk behaved as if we were inconveniencing him. Didn’t stay for breakfast - same staff in the morning so opted to eat elsewhere.

The Winsome Inn is a basic drive-up-to-your-room motel that still uses metal keys :) My kids and I stayed there one night on our way to Boston from Halifax. It's clean, no frills, and includes a continental breakfast (which my 8-year-old called a "buffet"). I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how accommodating they were when we arrived for breakfast a few minutes late.

During our trip to the Maritimes we stayed in several different hotels. The Winsome inn was the best of all of them. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars was because of the Deluxe Continental breakfast. Because it was described this way I was expecting some hot food choices which there weren’t any and the coffee wasn’t very good. But as far as accommodations I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in town!

Don't be deceived by a casual look of this hotel. It's a very nice place with fully renovated and sizable rooms, brand new bathroom stuff and very comfortable beds. Front desk staff is very friendly. Our room had fresh scent of cleanness. Breakfast room was also nice with real plates and cups. I would just add eggs for those who are on low carb diet.
