Wonderful stay at the Barbera hotel. The staff were really helpful with plenty of good advice from the staff at the front desk for seeing places and getting around using the Istanbul. The breakfast was really nice especially the egg with sujuk and the breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and attentitive. Would definitely stay again here.

I booked because it located near grand bazaar and got 4 stars and nice reviews on internet but it looks 1 star and too small room. Never never 4 stars hotel. It is not worth around $100 per day hotel.

The most perfect stay in the most perfect location

This was the most incredible stay we have experienced. The guest services were incredible. They provided us with the most attentive service, giving us recommendations of all kinds. We took their advice and not once were we disappointed. I could not believe how much the staff at this hotel would do for us. It was simple, perfect.

Stayed at 5 different hotels for this 10 day trip, and this was 2nd best. Everything was great about it until I noticed waking up to few bug bites from bed, even though bed seemed really clean and comfortable. Room had enough space and was one of the coziest, modern, and cute. Cute SMEG fridge in the room. Bathroom was a little small but clean. Great working toilet is always a plus. AC worked awesome, felt good after walking in hot sun during the day. Friendly and helpful staff. Location is bad for cars, recommend walking to main/easy access road, which is what we had to do on the way there and on way to airport (bad if you have lot of luggage, order a taxi wayyy ahead of time if you really need it because they have a lot of traffic to go through to get to the front entrance). But if you need the train, the station was right behind it. Even though it's hustle and bustle of Istanbul, its location is tucked away enough that's not super busy, but then you walk just around the corner, and you're walking elbow to elbow with people. Overall comfortable and great for the price.

We travelled as a family of four and had booked two rooms. The rooms were not large, but good enough. The bathrooms could get a makeover. They need some repairs. Otherwise the property is very clean. The breakfast was great - one could order eggs and a variety of other things like pancakes, etc., at no extra cost. The location is superb. The staff was super helpful. There is literally no noise, even though it was 10 mins walking from the Hagia Sofia, 8mins to the sea promenade, 10 mins to the markets and a few mins to restaurants and tram stop. The Metro is literally two mins away. The only minus was the transfer from the airport to the hotel. We had to wait a good 30mins before someone picked us up with a mini bus - not comfortable. The hotel should ensure better service. We got a much cheaper transfer from the hotel to the airport in a much better car. So I suggest booking a transfer from the hotel to the airport when you are in the city.

We had a very pleasant stay, the room was small but very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, wi-fi worked well, and shower had good water pressure and temperature. Location was pretty good, not a far walk to transportation and sites. Staff was very friendly and helpful in securing transportation for us.

Me gustó la ubicación, que permite visitar a pie la mayoría de lugares históricos y comerciales de Istanbul. Está casi en medio del bullicio pero en una calle tranquila. El desayuno es correcto. El trato es amable. Las habitaciones son correctas, no demasiado grandes. Un dia pedimos un transporte para 10 personas a 10 minutos del hotel y nos cobraron 40€, mientras que la vuelta con un Uber nos costó 6€. Mejor no pedir transfers.

Schönes kleines Boutique Hotel an perfekter Lage um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss oder per Tram zu erreichen. Das gesamte Hot-Team ist überaus zuvorkommend, freundlich und aufgestellt. Man fühlt sich als Gast rundum wohl und willkommen. Alle Angestellten geben einem wertvolle Tipps bezüglich der Erreichbarkeit und Gepflogenheiten alles Plätze, Ausflugszielen und Sehenswürdigkeiten, aber auch der Kultur. Super sauberes und gelegenes Hotel

Super Boutique Hotel mit einer super Lage! Von hier aus hat man quasi direkten Zugang zur allen Verkehrsmittel. Hier buchen und die ganzen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Istanbul entdecken. Frühstück war gut und Tee und Kaffee gab es rundum die Zeit kostenlos. Super Personal. Ich komme wieder

Beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité des prestations

Très bonne localisation à côté des principaux sites touristiques et de l'embarcadère pour le ferry. Quartier très animé mais la rue est calme. Chambre fonctionnelle, propre avec tout le nécessaire mais très petite pour 2 personnes. Les 2 lits n'arrêtaient pas de bouger comme ils avaient des roues.. Vue sur un entrepôt..Pas de lumière du jour. Toutes les miroirs sont dans la salle de bain (compliqué à se préparer pour 2 personnes). Les chaînes arabes et françaises ne fonctionnent pas (seulement des chaînes turques et 2 en anglais CNN et BBC) Petit déj moyen: le buffet à volonté est très limité. Il faut demander pour les boissons chaudes et les plats à base d'oeufs. On doit choisir entre un plat salé et un sucré (pas possible d'avoir des oeufs et des pancakes par ex). Le personnel est gentil et serviable mais j'ai trouvé ça gênant de ne pas pouvoir se servir et de devoir demander à chaque fois même pour une tasse de café (le petit déj devrait être en buffet libre service). Les pancakes sont industriels (très secs et durs), la cuisson des oeufs n'est pas bien maîtrisée à part les plats turques à base d'oeufs qui sont excellents (ne pas commander les oeufs brouillés, omelettes et pancakes) Pour conclure, il s'agit plutôt d'un petit hôtel familial plutôt bien placé mais où on manque d'intimité...Les entrées et sorties sont surveillées, au petit déj nous sommes servis,...c personnel mais je préfère un hôtel plutôt standard où il n y a pas toute cette pression
