This has taken me forever to put together as I was hopeful hotel management would step up. When we arrived (middle of summer the hotel AC had been out for days). They reassured us that the HVAC system had been repaired and was cooling. We were assigned our room. Only to pass multiple dehumidifiers on our way down the hallway. It was so humid that the wallpaper was releasing from the walls. We got to our room that smelled mold and rot. We immediately went back to the front desk and let the lady working know that we could not stay because of the condition of the room. Brittany (front desk) was so very kind and helpful. I asked Brittany if she would call hotels.com and let them know the situation so we would get a refund. She tried, but the hotel phones were down. Brittany gave us the hotel email information and told us to email them, and they would take care of it. We ended up having to dispute it on our credit card and the hotel was uncooperative with hotels.com We ended up losing over $300 because we couldn't stay in a mold infested building with no AC and temperatures close to 100.
