We loved our stay at Los Lagos. We stayed 4 nights with no kids. Room was very clean and spacious. Appreciated the clothesline on the deck. The grounds were so lush, green and tropical. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety hot buffet and a fried egg/omelet station. We enjoyed the hot springs in the afternoon especially in the rain and spent time at the pool bar. Views were fantastic and it was close to town and very easy to use uber to get where we were going.

Si vas al restaurante a la hora de la cena, no dudes en pedir los platillos típicos, creo que son lo mejor de la carta. No te pierdas la visita al mirador y ten cuidado con la inclinación del camino. Great hotel, comfortable rooms, fabulous pool complex, easy parking, on site food options. Multiple pools including varying degrees of hot springs, and natural pools, swim up bar, etc. Ideal location for activities including coffee/chocolate tours, hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall, tubing, etc. La Fortuna is 10 minutes away in an Uber which is cheap and efficient and has lots of bars and restaurants. I loved the set up of the hotel. It was quaint enough to feel small and intimate yet it was a really large property with two cold poles with two slides for the kids, which was super fun. The variety of hot spring pools was really fun to go and test out and move around. The rooms were really nice and updated. The staff was really kind. It was a great place and I’d love to go back.
