We stayed one night mid-week. The staff were very helpful and gracious - even checking us in hours earlier. Our room was huge, well appointed, and insulated from noise. The location is excellent, down the street from the Avon and a 30 minute walk to the Festival. We enjoyed a delicious brunch in the morning so can recommend the restaurant as well. Parking at the Cooper Lot is free and very close.

Our 3rd floor room was clean and bright despite not having a window, thanks to a skylight. All the staff were helpful and the breakfast in the resturant was tasty if a bit pricy. The biggest challenges were the lack of parking and the lack of a loading zone to provide a space to stop for loading and unloading luggage. The staff were very helpful carrying our luggage from available street parking spots. There is a free municipal lot 2 blocks away

How have I never stayed at Foster's before? It's literally the most convenient place if you have shows at Studio or Avon Theaters. Plus, lovely rooms, great food, wonderful service--what more could one want? The after show Happy Hour was the most perfect way to end the day. I can't wait to return!

The location is prime, practically next door to the Avon Theater. Our room was large with a beautiful updated bathroom… a good elevator which is nice for an older Victorian building and not always the case. The restaurant is quaint and had a nice choice for their breakfast/brunch menu and it was well prepared. I would recommend this place.

- Great staff. - Restaurant was also very good with fair pricing - Rooms where clean and well maintained - Bathrooms very immaculate, not a single speck of grime to be found, also very modern - Great central location, half a block from the Avon theatre - No parking on site, there is parallel municipal street parking but at a cost, free municipal public parking lot a few blocks away, the walk is quite nice as you get to walk through the neighborhood.

Great place to stay and great food,the staff is awesome and helpful. The only one thing is when booking a room it states breakfast is included which is of course a seller but it was not and only offered a free mimosa, very misleading. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

The Inn is not an Inn , simply rooms over a restaurant, That said, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And the staff kind and helpful. The unfortunate experience was the price, $491 for a room that sold for $161 plus tax the next night, more in line with the facility. Only a room.

Fosters is our "go to" place to stay when we visit Stratford for the shows at the Festival. It is located practically right next door to two of the four theaters and is well within walking distance to the other two. Craig Foster recently sold the hotel he had founded well over 20 years ago (I'm guessing) and it is now managed by Mercers, another fine establishment in Stratford. Over the past year Mercers has been beautifully redoing the rooms and upgrading the bathrooms! The restaurant at Fosters is very, very nice and serves 4 star meals!
