Very good indeed, and a nice welcome.

I was working in the area and came across The Inn in The Park. The hotel is great it's a real home from home with friendly staff and large comfortable rooms with everything you might need including a mini fridge. The bar and restaurant area are modern with a nice warm feel and the locals are friendly and chatty. I didn't go because of the weather but i believe the beach is very nearby and Bournemouth centre is around a mile walk. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again when I'm in the area( hopefully the weather will be better).

6/10 Good

We stayed on a Thursday evening which is quiz night. Very noisy in our room until 10:30 when it finished. Friendly staff. Nice room. Excellent choice of cooked breakfast but would have liked a choice of cereals or pastries.

Great for a short break

We stayed for 1 night in a double en-suite room. The pub is in a nice residential area of Bournemouth a short walk from the beach. There is an onsite car park. The room was well equipped, modern & clean. The bathroom worked fine but was a little dated. Breakfast was cooked to order & of good quality however is only available between 9 - 9.30 am. Even though the room was above a bar we were not disturbed by any noise. We enjoyed our stay.

Not great

The staff in the bar area were very polite and helpful. The food was adequate. However, on arrival i was informed that they weren't doing the breakfast the following morning, even though breakfast was included in the price. The lady did give complimentary drink in the bar to cover but disappointed that no breakfast was available. Was also informed that live music would be in the bar until 10:30pm The state of the bathroom was disappointing. All in all staff friendly buy wouldnt stay again sorry

Don't let the fake wisteria on the outside (which really needs to go) put you off. Inside is warm and welcoming. The Branksome room was spacious with a comfy bed and even a mini fridge, something we wish we had known before we left. All the usual pub fare but very well cooked. Very good full English breakfast. The only reason no 5*s is that there were no plain yogurts available, no choice of juice, only orange and no fruit, i.e. prunes to go with cereal. These are just small things that would not prevent us returning or recommending.
Ruth, 2-night trip

Bathroom needs attention , old shower, black mould on tile grout & seal . Ceiling paint work falling away & water stained. Soap holder in shower falling off . Window in bedroom has a lot of rotten wood . Bed was very comfortable & the decoration & style was tasteful . We know the building is old but the windows & bathroom need attention. Location great & breakfast fantastic

Disappointing return!

Room was very dated and cold, duvet too thin, only 1 radiator, bathroom towel radiator covered in condensation!

It was our last day of the coastal walk and we were happy to stay at the Inn in the Park. Great hotel with fab bar and restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend it as the place to stay in Bournemouth.

Paid £105 for one night. The staff/service was good and friendly, but unfortunately the room did not meet expectations. The bathroom had mould and clearly wasn’t cleaned properly, and the floors were squeaky. Overall, the room hygiene and maintenance were disappointing for the price paid.

From the moment we checked in, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was lovely and the food was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great place to stay and relax.

The hotel is in a quiet residential area very close to the beautiful sandy beach. It was very quiet at night even though there is a pub downstairs…..which is also very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly,
