Our room (204) was very tired looking, paint and wallpaper peeling and needs a complete revamp. The bed was not very comfortable and no rooms listed with king size beds ? I would have preferred king to the cramped double. The dining area looks OK but I was not impressed by breakfast ..it was just OK.

Disappointed with the room.

2 nights stay. Room was very dated, tired and in much need of renovation. Marks on the walls and bathroom shower had such low pressure it was unusable. Tap pressure was fine, so nothing to do with Scottish water.... just need a pump for the shower! The toilet also did not flush and had a sticker on it saying to try a few times!! Even so it was very hit or miss. We highlighted the issues with the room to reception the next morning and were moved to another room, which was at least functional! Very overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Front garden nicely kept and staff friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night. The staff we amazing but the property does need updated and the fact they gave me my peach schnapps with tonic water instead of lemonade and the half pint shandy with tonic water as well was disappointed as I was not asked if this was ok. I did query when I took my drink and knew it wasn't right. Was given an apology but not the point. Don't think we will stay again. (Yes I know they are still recovering from COVID) just hope they can improve with feedback
