The staff is so friendly and helpful. The landscaping is lovely and well maintained. The Happy Hour is very nice and we enjoyed chatting with other hotel guests. It was nice, the staff was great, the electricity went out on Saturday night around 7pm and was still out when we left around 9 the next morning, there was a bad storm not hotels fault, but the nice thing is are room had a gas fireplace and it made it really cozy, plus there was hot water to take a shower in the morning. We would stay again. Close to down town about a block.

So many good things to say about Grass Valley Courtyard Suites! The location was ideal...walking distance into town ( just a block or two), quiet area, and the rooms were so cozy and comfortable. It did not feel like a hotel at all...more like a little cottage in a beautiful setting. All the staff were so kind and helpful!

The room was very clean with super comfortable beds and lots of towels. I loved having the fridge and microwave in the room, and free parking near my room. The breakfast was the best of any motel I've stayed at and the staff were all wonderful. The location can't be beat - there are shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Unfortunately, I didn't use the sauna or hot tub because of my schedule, but I am sure they are also great. If I come back to Grass Valley, I will always stay here.
