Overall our stay was ok. The room has ceiling fan which was nice, as the room was really warm for April. Cleanliness was a bit lacking, peanuts on the floor under the desk, hair in the sink, on the floor in the restroom, and a bit dusty. The check -in person/owner? was not rude, but not friendly at all.

I've stayed here multiple times. Usually it's a pleasant stay. This time around they gave my room to someone else. The room I ended up in, the hairdryer didn't work and the toilet handle would stick. Not the worst thing to happen, but definitely annoying when you're only in the room to get ready for a show and come back before bedtime.

It was the run of the mill QI. It was obvious that Michigan has legalized recreational cannabis because the hallway smelled skunky. Our room was ok, however the bathroom smelled like someone had vomited Cheetos. The staff came right up and sprayed deodorizer. It really helped, but we went to the store and grabbed some Febreze just in case the smell came back. It didn’t, but I think I caught a whiff of it in the stair well. The shower rod was stripped out of the wall and hanging at a weird angle so the curtain kept sliding to the center. That made for a fun shower experience. The breakfast was standard. No microwave scrambled eggs though, which I can deal with. Only one waffle iron, so there were some lines, but all the guests were kind and considerate. It seemed like the person working the front desk also ran the breakfast. I felt bad for her checking out guests while taking care of other’s breakfast needs. It was a lot. I’d probably stay there again, it’s a fair stay for the price.

It was fine. Not bad but not good. Breakfast was there, not ideal. The bare minimum for a breakfast. Coffee, milk, cereal, waffles, yogurt, juice. Apples, no bananas?! White bread only. No pastries. Workout room was in an actual room with some dumbbells that went from 15 lbs to 45 lbs, nothing in between. A treadmill (treadmill was actually pretty decent!), an elliptical & a bench in a super small room. Would be horrible to be in there with another person. Very uncomfortable. Like I said, bare minimum for everything. Not bad, not good either.

Good for the budget if you are just looking for a safe and clean place to stay. Older hotel that appears to be have remodeled. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic.
