I'm going to be as fair about this hotel as I can. Good points - Cheap for the area. Bed linen and towel was clean. Bad points - Dilapidated, grubby, non-functioning tv and microwave left in room like dead little props. The microwave looked fine from the outside but was rusted to hell on the inside. The tv switched on but was impossible to get any channels. I didn't appreciate the head grease marks on the wall by the pillow or the wierd sticky with like things on the doorframe, or the vermin catcher next to the crockery under the sink. I would prefer to sleep next to 12 strangers in a clean hostel next time.

Majoitus ei olisi tapahtunut valitsemassasi hotellissa, vaan jossain toisessa rakennuksessa. Hotelli oli likainen ja rikkinäinen. Henkilökunta poltti tupakkaa sisällä. Huoneessa haisi voimakkaasti, sekoitus ummehtunutta hajua ja kloritea. Huonekalut oli hajalla ja sängyssä jotain karvoja. Emme jääneet majoittumaan, vaan hankimme toisen hotellin.

Le prix était intéressant par rapport à la localisation dans Londres. Mais au niveau de la propreté et de la vétusté de la chambre, cela laissait vraiment plus qu’à désirer. La chambre numéro 3 nous a été attribuée et nous avons découvert un escalier tapissé non aspiré, un verrou de porte très abîmé à se demander si on pouvait laisser nos sacs pendant notre absence. Des rouleaux de poussières sous les lits et des draps propres mais tachés en rajoutait à notre déception d’avoir choisi cet hôtel. Heureusement que nous y avons passé que 3 nuits. Dommage…

This hotel shouldn’t be on Travelocity in my opinion. The exterior hotel entrance has old, tacky artificial grass. The interior hotel entrance has old, filthy, ripped carpet. This continues up the stairs to your room. Our room had a large repair patch (about 4’x8’) on the ceiling with water damage still visible (about 3’x3’). We were very concerned about possible mold exposure. The room hadn’t been updated for decades. The bathroom had unsightly repair work on the walls. The bathroom sink is about the size of an airliner’s. Overall, the place was dirty, outdated, dingy, and in need of serious repairs. Numerous hotels in London were sold out, so this is why we tried this place. We couldn’t bring ourselves to even spend the night there. The manager would not refund our stay. We found much a much better place, but we had to go out to Heathrow to find vacancies. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This is a hotel of last resort. You have been warned.

Non ci aspettavamo granché per quello che abbiamo pagato, ma mancava il minimo indispensabile. Al nostro arrivo c’era una puzza nauseabonda nel bagno (sospettiamo che il ragazzo alla reception l’avesse usato un attimo prima del nostro check in) e un insetto enorme sul muro. Il vano doccia era orrendo e sporchissimo, il tubo del doccino rotto faceva schizzare acqua ovunque, impossibile lavarsi in modo decente. Mancanza di riscaldamento, se non per un mini termosifone malfunzionante. Infissi decrepiti che lasciavano trapelare spifferi da tutte le parti. Per concludere, abbiamo chiesto un phon, ce ne hanno dato uno rotto e non ne avevano altri: risultato, non abbiamo potuto farci lo shampoo per 4 giorni. Unico aspetto positivo la posizione, molto ben collegata ai mezzi pubblici e con ristoranti, bar e pub nelle vicinanze. Sicuramente non ci tornerei.

Hébergement sommaire mais vétuste. Salle de bain très étroite et douche catastrophique (moisissures et rouille apparentes). Bien situé à coût raisonnable mais il faut se doucher les yeux fermés. Personnel néanmoins à l'écoute mais démuni face à l'état de la douche.

Staff was great, checkin and checkout was quick and efficient; The property was very run down, the building was very smelly (cigarette/musty moldy-smelling layers of carpeting in the hallways), the room was not fully clean (corners were visibly dirty and generally the floors weren’t clean, unused surfaces were not dusted), dangerous shower as it was way too small and had uneven surface, there was a old rusty screw sticking out of shower between shower head and bottom of the shower head hose, the bathroom flight flickered constantly, the curtains were not blackout, there was leftover food in the freezer portion of the fridge, and one entire power outlet did not work at all.

This hotel is fantastic for it's location! The Underground is a couple of minutes walk, loads of restaurants, and walking distance to parks, museums, etc. But it is very bare bones. If you want great location safe, quiet, and truly excellent price, this is it.

I would NOT recommend stay here! From our experience: Pros- trash was collected every day, beds sort of made, the staff worked with giving us a slightly better room, they held our bags while we waited for room to be ready, they gave us an extra fan, and location is great and close to places to eat, subway, and walking distance to grocery, laundromat and park. Cons- the smell and view of mold was discovered in room 1. After examining they offered us another room as our only option. They placed someone else in room 1 after being informed of the mold. The rooms are stuffy and hot, smokers blocking the entry to building, not convenient for longer stays due to lack of kitchen items and space, crappy and uncomfortable beds, only standing room in bathroom, we discovered a mouse in our bathroom two nights before our departure, refuse to give refund for any reason.

Receptionist mocked my name as I checked in. Room felt grubby, didnt like walking on the floors especially the bathroom with no so socks on. Sink was falling of the walk and the kitchen cupboard was hanging off. Bedroom window wouldn't stay shut so managed to wedge it with a fork.
