We were very glad to find the Lodge in Russell after a long day of travel. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room to be delightfully decorated and recently upgraded and done very well. The breakfast was good and, yes, there were homemade cinnamon rolls too! It was a very pleasant experience and we would stay again.

This place is like a retreat!! Fantastic variety of breakfast items to enjoy, the outdoor pool is what our granddaughters loved, our rooms were clean, (our particular room could have used a luggage rack and second chair), and we enjoyed time at the tables and chairs outside our room!! Highly recommend!!

Staff was incredible. We enjoyed the breakfast. They have hot items and a lot to choose from. There was some road noise as we were on the side by the road. This might be an issue if you are a light sleeper.

lobby and dining room are well maintained and very cozy feeling. The king bed room had water spots on ceiling, tub could use a good scrubbing and had hair in bottom, we didn't use. The rest of the room was clean enough. bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the best we experienced over the last 5 days at different facilities.

The check-in process was amazing. There are no elevators but the front desk staff was very helpful. She went out of her way to help us. The suite we had was spacious and super clean. The rooms are dated and the beds are okay but not very supportive. Breakfast was nice and warm. Check out was a breeze.
