opened in 1956, the Malibu is well maintained, and manager Debbie was a gem. Located on Gulf Blvd, convenient to many attractions (public beach across street), we had a restful, pleasant stay. Would definitely return!

Hotel is dated but well maintained. If you’re looking for a modern facility you might be disappointed in this facility. That being said we enjoyed our stay and will likely return to this location.

The only negative to note, is that the doors are very old, and do not seal. You can hear every person walking/talking outside of your room very easily. But, would stay there again.

We found the Malibu's beachy vintage vibes to be very welcoming. Rooms have been updated with new furniture, flooring, bedding, and have a great feel to them. Bathroom was original and clean.There was music by the clean, heated pool. Staff accommodated our daily fresh towels and were friendly. No daily housekeeping which we liked.
