I was given a room that I could hear the traffic, so had problem trying to get to sleep. In the early morning (around 3 to 4 am), I was woken up by loud prayers. Had trouble getting back to bed. Went to Front Desk & request for a change to a quiet room, as I had to stay 4 nights. The staff managed to get me a quiet room. So no problem from the 2nd night onwards. Cynthia, the Manager gave me one free breakfast. Chef Juana & other staff in the Breakfast Room were so nice. They explained the local cuisine & tea, and I enjoyed my breakfast there.

This hotel is connected to a shopping mall! So eating and shopping are very convenient! The hotel staff are very friendly! Amenity kit is also very complete, but just like the previous reviewer once said, the in-room slippers for a five-star hotel should be in better quality and also the size of in-room slippers are kind of small for men! The breakfast buffet is one of the best in selections and tastes! Overall speaking, if I go to JKT, still will consider this hotel to stay!

I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent reviews and its convenient location. However, there were several issues during our stay that affected our overall experience. During breakfast, the restaurant was very crowded and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table. When we were eventually seated, the table had not been properly cleaned, despite being directed to it by staff. We also visited the spa as we were quite tired. Unfortunately, the therapist who attended to me was coughing throughout the massage and did not apologise, which made the experience uncomfortable. Given the premium pricing and the hotel’s five-star standard, we had expected a higher level of professionalism. The most concerning incident occurred in the evening. When we returned to the hotel at around 9:30 pm, we found our room door unlocked. This was extremely distressing for us. We immediately contacted the manager. We were later informed that housekeeping had left the door open while removing items after cleaning. Although we appreciated the explanation and the complimentary airport transfer offered the next day, the incident left us feeling unsettled and we did not sleep well that night. While we understand that it was Chinese New Year and the hotel was operating at full capacity, room security should never be compromised. We still value the hotel location and consider staying again in the future. We hope that our feedback will be taken constructively to improve the guest stay.

Best bed during my stay in Jakarta!

As expected from sheraton hotels, the beds are great and even the hotel has the best amenities in the room! On top of that, this is grand sheraton. I havent seen many of sheraton grand in the world but it happened to be in Jakarta, so here’s my ticket for luxury weekend! The hotel also has great facilities for family staycation. I wish i can bring my family on my next stay at The Sheraton Grand Gandaria City!
