Lovely seaside location with great views towards Aran. Our room was large with a great big comfortable bed and a fab bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower over it. The bar and restaurant are also lovely with good selection of food for dinner and breakfast, both of which we enjoyed..

This is a modern well maintained hotel. Ultra pet friendly!! Right on the beach Good quality bar food, great breakfast Great staff. It is also right on the road so do book a beach facing room - we did not and the room was OK, but we yearned to open our window - and it was not to be as this is a busy road.

The location is fabulous, right on the sea front. Plenty outdoor seating which was welcome in the hot, sunny weather we had. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet almost every dish on the menu had a GF option available which is quite unusual. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean.

A week at The Open

A five day stay to watch The Open Golf championship at Troon. The hotel was not able to provide TV coverage of the golf which was an oversight given the majority of guests were golfers. The hotel also took advantage of the golf to charge a premium for standard rooms. It may be better value to travel in from further afield during championships.

Lovely hotel for our overnight stay, staff very friendly. Restaurant was very good for our evening meal with a comprehensive menu. Only slight downside was they were doing some groundwork at the rear and side of the property so it was a little noisy early in the morning.
