Dealbreaker for most people: not only does the dorm not have outlets by the beds—it only has one double outlet for the whole room of 4 beds (and it’s up high where you can’t set your phone on anything). Buy a power strip, guys! I had another stay here where I was in a private room and that was quite nice. Great location. You need to bring your own towels and padlocks for dorms. (They theoretically had towels for rent but they weren’t available when I was there.) no AC, just fan. Half front desk staff speaks fluent English, half speaks not a word.

駅から近くて交通面では便利でしたが、スーパーが遠く、周囲に飲食店が少なかったです。建物が二棟あり、私は古い建物の方でしたが、クーラーがなくて扇風機のみ、ドミトリーでベッドが対角にあったので、一方にしか風が当たりませんでした。ロッカーも壊れていて、使えるのは2箇所のみ。シャワーはお湯が出たので良かっですが、非常に狭いです。恐らく新しい建物の方はちゃんとしているのではないかと思いますが、宿泊者のマナーが悪く、キッチンが汚かったり食材を盗まれたりするので、注意が必要です。

Location location location, provedencia is a place to be! If I was going to live in Santiago I would live here. The hostel itself is nice and friendly, I found it to be very safe. The breakfast available is good, self serve, although I never had the dinner it is available for free as well. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking, in fact every thing is within walking distance. TIP- use Uber instead of taxi!

Good Value, Somewhat Run Down

Spent 1 night here in transit and it was fine - room and bed were clean, although the mattress was kind of old and had some kind of large dent in the middle which made it a bit uncomfortable. There was also something wrong with the toilet and it made an annoying loud noise all night. However, staff were very friendly and helpful, and dinner and breakfast were also included. Overall good value given the low price but don't expect anything glamourous.

Nice place to stay in Santiago

Pros: - The lovely breakfast with eggs, fruits, bread, juices - Dinner is included - The cleaning staff are great, efficient and always smiling. - Jean, one of the staff, was brilliant: really helpful, welcoming and very proactive to sort out issues that we raised Cons: - the mattresses are quiet bad, really need to be changed!

Hostal divertido y céntrico en Santiago

Me gustó muchísimo éste hostal, ya que su ubicación está más que excelente, el personal del hostal es tan agradable que después de una semana terminarás amándolos a todos y a todas. El ambiente es muy bueno y un detalle fabuloso que jamás había visto en otro hostal es que sirven desayunos y cenas (ambos muy ricos e incluidos en el precio). Inclusive a veces hasta te darán como cortesía para acompañar tu cena un vaso de pisco sour o una copa de vino. Recomiendo al 1000% éste hostal a todos los viajeros que pretendan explorar la mágica y preciosa ciudad de Santiago en Chile.

Safe neighbourhood, close to a small market

Amenities in the room was sufficient and as expected. Staff was friendly and spoke good English. Neighbourhood feels safe. Just a short 3 min walk to the closest metro station, and 20mins to the airport by taxi.
