What a hidden gem!! Rooms were spacious and clean. Grounds as well. Sitting on the balcony or patio area outside our room was a perfect way to relax. We only used this as an overnight stop on our way home and if it was closer to our home we would definitely return for stays

Clean rooms, beautiful location, helpful staff, great pool, grills and picnic tables right by the river. Nature lover's will be pleased. The cafe is no longer open since Hurricane Ian, but the hotel store has some snacks, so stock up on the groceries before you come. Do not lose the room key! They are very up front about the $50 charge for a lost key, and they mean it.

We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. The room was supplied with fresh towels and coffee daily. The room was clean, and the kitchen was nicely stocked and well organized. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were just the right thickness. The grounds were raked and cleaned daily. We were highly impressed with the facility and will certainly return!

I love this place. I rented the same cottage as last time due to the fact the kitchen is so well equipped. Everything is SUPER CLEAN, bed is SUPER COMFORTABLE. TV is nice a large, cable channels are great. There is nothing but great things to say about this hidden gem in DeLand.

The water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. We loved this location. It's beautiful 'old Florida'. It did my heart good to visit there. We really liked our river view room having the option to go out the back door and use the chairs provided to look at the river and hear all the river sounds. Also, regarding the ice cream sold at the shop, the pint containers, the Butter Pecan was dangerously good. And, the woman running the store, in addition to her other duties, was super sweet. Great place and it is where we will stay anytime coming through the area. Loved it!

Parking and overall condition of the resort was terrific. The check-in staff are friendly. The men who help with launching vessels are kind and helpful. One of the front desk women was really great. I am sorry that I forgot her name - lovely silver hair and blue eyes - and she was kind enough to let us know how much work you all are doing on the Executive Suite. It was well-appointed. Please ensure that housekeeping make beds and provide clean linens when towels are on the floor. We do enjoy your resort, and mostly for your peoples' kindnesses. The rooms look better and better and the landscaping is super.
