Check-in was easy due to the room's door code. Amazingly quiet room even as the property is on Hwy 5. Very comfortable beds, pillows and whole room! We will be back if ever in the area! Awesome restaurant just North on Hwy 5 called Val's. A must stop for breakfast!!

Recent Stay

A better phone number needs to be posted on the property in case you arrive and didn't receive the text or email with virtual check in information like what happened to us, Room floor was very dirty. Our socks would be all dirty from walking on the floor. Location was great for us and the fire pit and grill and tables was a nice touch.

We liked our stay there because it was not in all the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. Our room was spacious, clean, had everything we needed. The employees were polite. The only drawback, was that there was not Uber service available.

Ruined the handicap. Beds too high.frame moves across floor. Toilet too low, no grab bar. Can't reach paper. No cold water only warm . New air small, blows air under curtain. Took 2 hours to find out lamp in touch. Used this 7-8 times in 18 months. Can't go back being handicapped

I loved getting the code to access room and have a swift check-in with receipt just emailed to me. We had an ice bucket in the room, but were never able to find an ice machine with which to fill it which was a little sad. The tub was super slick and both my son and my Mom fell in it. I would have had I not put a towel inside the tub to help with a little bit of traction.

There was pizza in the fridge from whoever stayed there before me. The place was just dirty and nasty. Didn’t even stay there my 3rd night went and found something that’s actually been cleaned. Will never go back. Place is just disgusting

Loved the old school feel. The rooms smelt wonderful. The bathroom was huge. It still had some old features from back in the day. The only thing I did like was the beds were flimsy and I kept stubbing my toe on whatever was poking out under the front of the bed. Other than that the host was nice, he made me laugh and it was peaceful. Not much to eat really late so it would be wise to get food before you call it a night or a snack or two.

It was good for a hot shower and sleep. There were burn marks and nicks in tub and I was in a nonsmoking room. But it was clean. The clerk was a little smart ass, my husband told him we had a boat, so we could see if there was a specific place he wanted us to park it, and the clerk shrugged and said "so". Also when I gave him my name so he could pull up the reservation he said "finally your her so I can go home now". So it's the type of hotel I will only use if I am in the area and just need a shower and sleep.

Well there was no person on site for asy issues. There were 2 guys there that had reservations and did not know room number or code to get in door. they spent 3hrs trying to get a person to answer the phone but it finally took my number that i had to get someone to resend there room numbers and codes to them. we were even getting ready to call police to figure out how to speak to a person. the numbers went to someone in another country who could not get it what they needed.

Okay, but very pricey.

It was an average room, I thought a little overpriced at approximately $200 a night. Stayed there two years ago and paid roughly $70 a night. It was nice that they had repaved the driveway, except the west end of the drive was rough (uneven). Generally motels/hotels that I stay at for $200 a night at least provides breakfast.

Nobody there.

Rooms are very nice and recently remodeled. Beds are comfortable, shower have great water pressure. Advertised as having cable television in the rooms but there was none. Only apps on the television that you need to login to your own account (thanks Carlos, who ever you are, for leaving your login for Amazon). There is no staff on hand. Need another towel? Too bad. The office has a lock on it and no way of knowing the keypad combo to get in so I couldn't get ice or snacks. I did find a cleaning lady later on, who wouldn't give me the combo to the office, but said she would leave the door open. Lastly, the bathroom is weird. When they remodeled, they put the toilet paper holder 5ft away from the toilet. Make sure to bring TP with you when you sit down or you will be waddling over to grab some. Overall the place is average. Love the new rooms but not having no staff on hand.
