With so much to do and see in the Yorkshire dales, the Plough Inn is the perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff escorting us to the room and making sure we were comfortable. Friendly bar staff providing a good selection of wines, beers and spirits at sensible prices. The restaurant menu is perfect. Simple and straightforward choice and the food is the same, just perfect.

Gorgeous Inn - food and stay fab!

It was our first visit to the Plough, on arrival i wouldnt say the lady was over friendly however when the shifts changed over the staff were friendly and helpful! Food was fantastic, evening meal and breakfast fab! Lively pub/restaurant and great atmosphere. The rooms were stylish and comfortable.

Great place to stay.

Great food, great staff, lovely place to be. Our room was close to either the central heating boiler or ventilation or something else for the hotel, so was a little annoying throughout the night as it never went off. Bed was lovely, big TV, nice facilities however we had no milk for the tea/coffee machine. The surrounding areas is beautiful and we had some lovely walks. Apart from the small issues we had will study again.

Gorgeous location. Beautifully appointed room. Automatic bathroom light means that if you get up in the middle of the night the bathroom light comes in flooding the bedroom with light, probably should be an override switch. Lovely breakfast, possibly the best we have had in the UK this trip.
