My Ribieria Guest House is situated in the middle of a World Heritage neighborhood and is a very desirable place to stay. The building has been carefully and tastefully updated with all the modern conveniences except there is no elevator, so take note. The stairs were not a problem for us. We only had one night in Porto, we so glad we stayed here.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location. Transport to and from airport arranged together with an amazing trip up the Douro valley with wine and port tasting and a great meal at a local restaurant. Good selection of wines and snacks. Fantastic value for money…….the staff really went the extra mile!

It was a wonderful guesthouse in the best possible location in puerto for a tourist. My room had a nice kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. I loved everything about it. I just wish it had an elevator.

Our room at My Ribeira Guest House was the perfect stay for a couple of days in Porto. It was very cozy, yet hip. The provided turntable was a very nice extra touch. We listened to Fado and old Disco while the light rain splattered outside. We had everything closeby at a walking distance; the river and bridge, the old town, shops and restaurants. The staff also pointed us in the direction of the neighborood of Aforada, where we ate incredible seafood in a small-town setting. Highly recommended.

Walk up, no lift, weekends are very noisy due to traffic through the street tunnel below and horns honking and motorcycles reving. The Staff are incredible and actually make up for any shortcomings. Overall it was a nice stay in Porto.

Great location close to everything but too close to tunnel and main street so it was noisy. Bathroom and particularly the shower is way too small and cramped. Super nice staff though and nice touches with the electronic keypad entries for the main front door and to the rooms. No keys to worry about.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very well situed in the old Porto but so close from the tunnel with all the trafiic, the noise, the polution and because the windows are not good the noise and the cold in the room... That's the reason why they furnish Quies balls for free ! Breakfast is good value for money but offers no diversity (the same for 6 days). Too bad. The last day I sprained my ankle (the sidewalk at the exit is small and dangerous) and the staff helped me.
