It was ok. Team were very friendly. Room was clean. Food was meh for dinner. But o felt bad saying something because staff were so nice. Room appeared quiet but at night there were weird humming noises almost like there’s a washing machine spinning nearby. My room was at the end of a small but very dark corridor. Light sensor activated was ok on entrance but when I come out the room it doesn’t trigger until I’m half way down. Breakfast was fine.

Very nice staff, delicious breakfast. Had trouble finding plates, cups and glasses at breakfast but that’s because we were a bit late and they had a Christmas party of 130 going on! Bedroom was very nice but the mattress was too much hard for us. Good value overall.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding. We returned to our room at 11pm to find all the bedding was wet, at reception they stated that the bedding was cold and offered another room which we agreed to but then received a visit from staff stating they would change the bedding. They said the bedding had arrived wet that morning and this must have alipped through, how on earth was the bed made with wet bedding! They arrived to change it but only came with the linen not the inners. The linens were changed and they left but they werevstill damp. We chose to sleep on towels as we were exhausted from a busy day. Wont stay again for the price we paid which wasnt cheap.

This hotel is part of the Best Western Sure Collection. I have stayed here several times before and not been disappointed. I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. There were welcome gifts on hand and the whole room was laid out wonderfully with two desks, a settee, coffee table and chaise longue. There was a fridge which was very convenient. The bathroom was of a high standard with a shower that worked very well. The evening meal was adequate followed by a fantastic night's sleep and a well-cooked breakfast to start the day off right. My stay cost just over £100 which represented amazing value for money.

Booked a superior none pet room got a small double complained said it’s because I requested none pet room can’t down grade because of that must have superior none pet rooms should have been allocated wen booked . Luckily they moved us but were reluctant.

Disappointing Cleanliness and Bathroom accessories

Room was in a small cottage 5 mins outdoor walk from Reception - had to park near reception. Dust on light fittings Hair grips from previous occupier strewn across floor near bed. Empty Shower Gel container 1 Hand and 1 Bath Towel for 2 people. Restaurant closed at 8PM on a Friday evening Will never stay here again

Quirky but great
