The hotel is very convenient, in the heart of the Cabot Trail. Our room had all the conveniences but could use updating. The restaurant was very good.

Nice little spot.

A rustic hotel that is in a perfect location for visiting the area. We booked here because of the location. The check it was good and the people were friendly. They got us in quick, and gave us the information we needed about the area. For us the room and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable, nothing sticking out or hard. The showers worked with no issues and gave us plenty of hot water. The restaurant was nice, the staff were very pleasant and the food was good. The only complaint I would have is there is no fridge or microwave in the room. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was quick and painless - our room was even ready early. Beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning worked. The motel was close to everything we wanted to do and made for a good night. Check out was seamless and we enjoyed ourselves. For the price it was a solid night's stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the mountain view. It wasn’t perfect but provided a nice night for us as we travelled the trail. Pros - clean, dining on site, beautiful natural surroundings, friendly staff. Cons - Air conditioner loud as a jet engine, easy to hear neighbours (talking, showering, AC). Would stay again, perhaps in the fall when AC wasn’t needed :)

Limited options in this area. The rooms are obviously old (staining on walls, bathtub, towels, peeling wallpaper, goles in window screens), but the bed was comfortable enough, there is running water, and a restaurant on site.
