The B&B was fine, good location, clean beds, etc. The host was responsive. The only thing I did not appreciate is the cleaning people arriving 2 hours before checkout. They started with very loudly cleaning the common areas which was disturbing, as we were hoping to sleep in. But the worst part was when they attempted to open the bedroom door without knocking. Thankfully we had the door locked, but it felt like an invasion of privacy. We didn't get in until almost 11pm so having them arrive at 8:30am while we were trying to rest was frustrating to say the least.

Although it stated check in started at noon when we got there the woman cleaning said 3pm. Shortly after we were told we could check in. The room we selected was small but clean. They had information posted around the room in English and Italian which was very helpful. The people around there were very helpful. I’d stay there again but select a larger room. It was very convenient and the town was walkable .

One unique touch was the old-fashioned key and lock, which was a fun little detail! The room had everything we needed, so no complaints there. Just a heads-up—it’s a communal space, so if others are in the shared area, you’ll likely hear some movement in the morning. A couple of things to note: there’s no elevator, so be prepared for two flights of stairs. Also, if you’re arriving at night, the entrance is poorly lit—having a flashlight ready is a good idea!

We booked this just for a couple of nights at the end of our cruise rather than flying straight home. We were able to gain entry to the B & B early which was super. It would have been nice if there had been more kitchen facilities eg more cups, plates and kitchen cleaning items. Bedroom could have done with a few more electrical sockets
