Parking was 20 feet fr9m the front door. Of course, it was November! The hotel staff is wonderful. Two staffers sat on the lobby couch in the morning and provided local knowledge and tips on getting into Boston without using my car. The restaurant food is top notch. Great place for an east coast get away, located right next to the ocean with beautiful views, a convenient restaurant (surprisingly good - ate there three times and wasn’t disappointed once), and a cozy bar right downstairs. The hostess Charlotte was gracious, enduring my complaints about a mix up with a billing receipt on Expedia with composure, and all of staff at the restaurant were lovely and very accommodating (Nico, Lois, and Mary - thanks for making our trip special). The place has a lot of charm and I'm very glad we chose it over a modern glass high rise in Boston.

Very unique property with a beautiful view of the ocean from our ocean view room. We were able to raise the windows and listen to the sounds of the sea! 10/10! The check-in desk is also the hostess desk for the restaurant, so if you happen to need anything (like ice) during busy dining hours, it can be a little difficult. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

It is an excellent restoration of a very old building. It was hard to carry suitcases up the steep stairs and the hours the desk was open is very constricted. The room was excellent and cleanliness was super.With the restaurant on main floor it was very quiet in our room as we had to go to sleep early due to early AM departure.
