This property seems to be in the midst of a change in ownership/management and is a work in progress. The lobby and pool area are nice and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. However the room was dated and the bathroom was in need of paint and repairs to the walls. The closet area also needed work. The “river view” was only seen when standing at the window and looking a hard left - not the scenic view described. I’ve stayed in better and I’ve stayed in worse but this was certainly not the level you would expect for the price.

I was very pleased with the hotel itself—However, two things I didnt like—the link to the “map” inside the hotels.com app did not take me to the hotel. it took me a different locatio , approx 1/2 mile from the hotel. Secondly, there was not any “magnolia bluffs” signs any where on the exterior of the building, not even a road sign. Im not kidding. I had to use a different app to locate the hotel.

Staff were great. Rooms are outdated. Bathtub/shower faucet was stripped out and very difficult to get hot or cold water. Room was not very clean. Spiderwebs and bugs in the corner of. Had stained mold on one of my pillow cases.
