This is a first time we have stayed in a converted jail. The room was huge with great windows. Very clean. It also offered a free evening meal which also was a first for us. First night not so good but second night really lovely meal. Breakfast offered a good range as well. Hotel is right on a tram stop to catch into city centre thou you could walk it as well. Over all a very good eperiece.

The great things about this hotel are excellent location, interesting history, and the included breakfast and dinner, which made it so easy to come back after a day of sight-seeing and settle in for a nice meal. They even prepared something for the first day we arrived, when it was too late to make dinner, and we were able to eat in our room. Our room was lovely, large, and comfortable. We would certainly stay again, and I must say the morning bacon was excellent. I am a GF eater and had no problem. Thank you!

This hotel exceeded our expections. Only 10 to 15 minute walk to central downtown area with shopping and cafes. The hotel feeds you breakfast and dinner, which was very nice. Rooms are unique and very quiet This hotel provides great value for your money. Rooms were spacious and well lighted. Will definitely stay here again on next visit to Helsinki.

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. The room was lovely and spacious. A few shelves for clothes would be a bonus. The bathroom was fabulous with a great shower as well as a bath. The food was a nice surprise. Dinner and breakfast were included so we didn’t know what to expect but both were impressive. We were not hungry.

This is maybe my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I loved it! My room was so much fun, on the top floor. High ceilings and I loved that it’s in an old prison and you can tell from the “cell” doors. The bed was so comfortable! I didn’t even need my ear plugs and slept so well. The best thing was the hotel offers a buffet breakfast AND dinner. It was awesome not having to worry about finding a place to eat after a busy day. Tram stop is right outside the hotel and it’s a great area to walk around in. Can’t recommend enough.
