Apparently this property sells to youth sporting teams so we had the good fortune of finding a pre teen volley ball tournament housed at the hotel which gave us happy and very loud 12 year olds running up and down the halls and playing in the elevators to their enormous glee well into the night.

The location is really good. The hotel was clean. The choice of bright ugly yellow walls in the halls is shocking. I can't imagine a corporate designer choosing that. Most staff is very polite and accommodating. Wish I had gotten the name of one employee- very direct and almost abrasive on the phone with any request. If you are accustomed to Lubbock hospitality, a conversation with her will disappoint you.
