Small hotel with a very friendly staff....We were greeted with a glass of Cava upon check in and were able to store our bags to begin exploring Barcelona...The room was clean and an adequate size for 2 people. The location was perfect, allowing us to either walk everywhere or hop on the metro that was literally steps away from the front door. We easily navigated the hour long Metro ride to and from the airport. The neighborhood was fairly quiet with lots of restaurants and services near by. With all the hotel choices available, we were quite pleased with our selection.

Julian at the front desk is the kindest staff member I've met. He is very informative, friendly, and ready to help guests in any way he can. Nice person ever. This hotel is overall very good. However, one thing needs to be fixed. There is an odor/smell problem, and it is thought to be an issue with the drainage/sewer pipe system rather than specific to a particular room. At first, we thought it was an issue with our room and considered requesting a room change, but decided to stay as we thought the issue was not isolated to our room alone.

The reviews I read seemed too good to be true but it turned out they were true! The front desk manager was so helpful and suggested many wonderful options for our day. It was like having a personal tour guide! Room and bathroom was modern and spotless. Upgraded to a deluxe room with lovely balcony with view. The beverages and snacks including mini bar were complimentary. Breakfast was very good although we didn't have time to linger and savor it. A small but sweet hotel that makes you feel at home and wel-come!
