This place was beautiful! Very spacious, clean, and modern. The unit did have a/c (which we only needed for an hour one warm evening) and a mini fridge—great for storing grocery items. The breakfast was a voucher for a little place around the corner. Our only comment/complaint is that the key to the courtyard gate into the building didn’t work well. Other than that it was our favorite place we stayed in Italy.

Hotel.com stated there's free onsite parking but there was NONE when I got there. I had to find last minute parking at a garage for 2 days since I needed to join the all day tours in Rome. It cost me $74 dollars which was totally unexpected since the place stated free parking for guests. Please take off the free onsite parking when listing this place

Unfortunately due to the Covid Pandemic I was unable to travel to Italy at all. The owners of Milizie 76 Gallery would not credit me or reimburse me or even try to be nice about it. So as far as I'm concerned it could be the best place to stay but I feel the owners could have tried to at least be fair about the situation.

Almost great, horrible bed

Manager was friendly, place was in a great location, and the place looked great visually. However, every time we moved an inch on the bed, the frame and floor would pop like you can’t believe. It was incredibly loud and we basically didn’t sleep all night because of it. The mattress was also horrible. If they fixed those two issues, I’d give this place a 10/10 honestly. But man we hated the bed.

Excellent and safe location, close to metro stations and Vatican city. Lucia was very friendly and helpful and was available for contact through WhatsApp which was convenient. The only issue I had was with breakfast. It says free continental breakfast, but it was literally just a croissant, a cup of coffee and a glass of juice at the cafe next door. This should have been clarified in advance and should be included in the description as I would have not booked this place if I knew this is what they meant by breakfast. I usually book places that offer continental breakfast, which are usually buffets or at least offer multiple options, but this one was just disappointing as I expected more options and better service.

We were slightly late arriving, but the lady waited for us. She was lovely. The room was very nice , spacious and clean. The bathroom was well equipped but lacked shampoo. The bed was nicely made and bedding was of good quality. The noise at night from the road outside was very loud. This and it being a tad further than we thought were the only down points .breakfast is served at a cafe down the rd, and was sufficient. Sunday breakfast is it a beautiful little cafe a little further away, but it is stunningly different. All in all, I wouldn’t return myself, but can see why people would. If you’re only interested in the Vatican then it’s the perfect base, but a little too far from the main city for me.

Do not book if you have a car!

It was the worst experience I had ever had . I’m a frequent traveler and booked this place for the “free parking”. On arrival day, they instructed me looking for blue line parking space around the property then the second day moving my car to another line. This was not free parking! After I questioned hotel answered that if I didn’t like I could cancel the reservation. I canceled and booked another gas real free parking. I asked them about refund, they pushed me over to Hotel.com. Hotel.com helped me seeking for the refund. Unfortunately they refused and charged me two nights without gave back anything. If you have a car, do not book them! You do not have time every day to move the car looking for a free parking!

Disappointment

well attended when we checked in. during the day we were in town and suddenly got a message that we had made two holes in the wall adjacent to the shower. we were, of course, completely inquired into this accusation. we canceled the museum visit and came back to the room. then no one was there at the reception, but there were two handwritten notes on the desk. patch one was about the holes in the wall and patch two was about not having a bag of crusts on their desks. checked the holes at the wall shower and it was moisture damage that caused the paint to lie on the floor. the same damage was found on the corresponding page. took short and after they argued with me after arguing this. also asked if the crusts and their desks should be kept clean, nothing else could stand there. the elevator in the property stopped working on two occasions and we got stuck in the elevator. the final grade became very poor as the staff was arrogant. we paid for the room over SEK 1000 a day.

Buyer beware. They offered me a room with a broken patio door that didn’t lock. I refused and they offered for me to use the locked shared bathroom in the hallway corridor (?) since it was “only for one night and a safe neighborhood”. As a solo female traveler visiting Rome for the first time, I refused, stating I could not sleep in a bathroom. Neither Michela, Lavinia, nor myself were able to open the door and all agreed it was broken. I was left to find another hotel elsewhere. It has been one month and they did not fulfill their promise to get me a refund. First they said they didn’t charge my card, then they said that Expedia never contacted them, then suddenly they had no employee named Michela but instead someone named Ruchicha who says the doors were always fine and denied the request to Expedia. As soon as that happened, Michela blocked me on WhatsApp and Lavinia stopped responding. Expedia says these people are lying to me. Shame on this company for treating a solo traveler like this. I would not recommend. If you stay here, make sure you have money for a backup because they don’t care and OPENLY LIE to you repeatedly. I genuinely believed they would do the right thing. I was wrong to trust them. Women: don’t stay here alone unless you have a backup plan. They will have you sleep in a bathroom or unlocked room or go out on the street without help. Posting this not out of revenge because it was only €70 but to warn other women or people on a budget: go elsewhere.

En général c’est un «airbnb » typique, c’est a dire un grand appartement (ou deux) au 4ème étage le vieux bâtiment au 4ème, transformé en 6 unités de location touristique. Toute communication avec propriétaire (ou gestionnaire), d’ailleurs très serviable, passe par les messages WhatsApp. Points positifs: emplacement près de Vatican et metro Ottaviano, bon quartier tranquille, ascenseur, air conditionné qui fonctionne bien, bon matelas et propreté. Points négatifs: équipement de chambre basique, petite cuisinette, mais il n’a pas de table où manger et seulement une chaise disponible. On demande de payer les taxes municipales en cash et au lieu de 6E par jour on a demandé 7E par jour et personne. En résumé, malgré petites inconvénients notre évaluation et positif et on recommande cet hébergement.

Eine schöne Unterkunft mit einem Blick in den Innenhof. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Innenstadt ist super schnell durch die Metro erreichbar. Die Vermieter super freundlich und mit vielen Tipps und alle absolut hilfsbereit. Der Fahrstuhl ist schon ein absolutes Unikat, aber sehr schnell und effizient. In der Nähe gibt es das Ristorante Nico, der absolut leckere und meiner Meinung nach die besten Pizzen in Rom macht. Ich komme gerne wieder zurück.
