Nice economy hotel .My room looked right out on the ocean.

Great location and breakfasts. It was very hard to regulate temperature in our shower and the soap dispensers continually dripped. But on the plus side the ac worked very well.

This was an excellent hotel in the heart of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. We were just steps from the waterfront and were able to enjoy breakfast in view of the harbor each morning. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the accommodations were more than comfortable for our purposes. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location... right in the heart of town. Walk everywhere! Clean and comfortable. Friendly (Spanish speaking) staff, some English.

This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening.

Great view of the harbour. There was a comical, loud barking sea lion in the harbour that we could hear from the room. The hotel has a nice cafe that provides a good breakfast. Location is great for getting to the pier for the ferry or for water taxis to do boat tours.

The hotel is located very close to the airport. It is worth the extra money for a beautiful ocean view. You can see the seals playing in the water and hear them throughout the day. It is the perfect walking distance to everything you could need. There is a small cafe that also has everyday essentials (soap, sun screen, aloe vera, drinks, snacks, alcohol, etc). The hotel also offers breakfast, however if you have a tour scheduled you have the option for a box lunch. This is very convenient and comes with a juice, apple, and pack of cookies which you can place in your fridge over night. Additionally, the hotel is located right across the way from the area in which the tours meet. The air conditioner in the room is perfect, and the hotel also provides complementary drinking water both in your room and downstairs. It is an extremely safe area, where everyone is extremely friendly.

2/10 Poor

Nothing good comes to mind after that horrible experience staying in La Zayapa place in San Cristobal. Eric, called himself a manager, is so cheap..., in room he generously ofered tap water instead of bottles, provides the same, very suspicious, liquid soap or detergent as shampoo and body wash in very suspicious color. No extra towel is allowed, according his words, even they are overused and should be replaced long time before. And beside that, he charge us over $400 who knows what for, it's all in Spanish and we haven't used anything in this place, nothing was offered in the first place. I strongly advice Expedia to verify the quality of hotels, they recommend, because paying for staying in a hotel as a 4 stars when It's not even a 1 star hostel is misleading advertising and is not fair to it's customers.

Great stay, just pay cash when you arrive

In-person, everything was amazing! There was this little old lady who didn't speak a lick of English, but I we got by with my basic spanish and she was so so sweet. She was accommodating and she was complimentary and she gave us advice on how to be safe in Guayaquil. The hotel and breakfast were great. The only negative was that before our trip, Zayapa reached out and they tried to get me to pay on a sketchy app beforehand (we ended up just paying in cash in person) but it was stressful beforehand.

4/10 Fair

The staff was terrible, when we came back after dinner around 8 pm, we couldnt get inside the hotel, it was a code that it has not been delivered to us at the check in. luckily we called a phone posted outside and they could help us.

The only reason this hotel is recommendable is the location. Otherwise, the hospitality and customer service is horrible. We arrived and there were ants on the wall over the bed and on the sheets. We were given a can of ant spray and told to spray and leave the room. There was no hot water unless we asked them to turn on the water heater and only after going down stairs twice to ask. I asked them for 2 extra towels and they wanted to charge me $50 for them. I am not sure how other hotels are in the area but the only reason to put up with the poor service is being able to look out the window at the water and wake up to the sea lions barking. Book with caution.

2/10 Poor

Kitchen staff really rude

The girl behind the reception desk was super kind and friendly. The housekeeping were spot on with the room. The reason I would never stay at this hotel again was down to the kitchen staff. They were rude and kept laughing at me and sniggering one day I was refused breakfast when I was told I could sit down for a breakfast included in my stay an argument about it ensued with the kitchen staff and the lady who said I was ok to sit down. It made me feel really uncomfortable and I didn't bother. It ruined my stay having to walk past them sniggering at me for no reason.
Jo, 4-night trip

The location was great, right in the middle of everything; the staff was friendly and the Wi-Fi was fast. The room was spacious and clean, but the electrical outlets were in inconvenient locations and the electric shower head was difficult to operate (it basically just served scalding-hot water)
Carlos, 10-night trip

4/10 Fair

The staff here was awful. Very unfriendly. No one even told me what time breakfast was or that the exterior door locked at a certain time in the evening. I was dealing with a family crisis at check in and they were completely unsympathetic and even attempted to take advantage of me. At first saying they could not accommodate a change in dates unless I upgraded room type and then, Lo and behold there was a room available of the same type when I said no thank you to the upgrade. The room was simple. Clean, but not comfortable. Awful view out my window and the window didn’t even fully close.
