The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Even the person at the front desk on the day we arrived made sure that a taxi didn’t refuse to take card payment and also ensured we were not overcharged beyond the regular daytime fare. They also prepared a breakfast to go for us since our flight was very early, and even lent us chargers that fit European type. You truly feel like you’re at a home away from home in this hotel! Everyone on the team seemed to truly enjoy what they do, greeting us by name, sharing local tips, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. Every morning there was something homemade and delicious waiting for us — warm pastries, fresh fruit, local cheeses, and traditional Greek dishes made with care. It felt like visiting family who happen to be amazing cooks. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to everything. After wandering through Athens all day, it was the perfect place to unwind — cozy, calm, and full of thoughtful touches. But what really made this hotel stand out was the feeling behind it. There’s so much heart here. You can tell the owners and staff truly care about their guests and take pride in creating a place that feels personal and authentic. This hotel was perfect! The staff were SUPER friendly, the breakfast spread was FANTASTIC every morning, it was centrally located and incredible for walking around Athens, and our room was extremely clean! As a bonus, our room was ready early when we landed super early from our flight, and they held our bags for us after check-out so we could explore the city some more before our flight later in the day. A return to Athens and Sweet Home

This was a return visit for us, and we were well pleased with our short stay. We find the location to be favorable for walking tours of the Plaka, and other nearby areas of Athens. The staff is always friendly and helpful, whether offering guidance for touring, exploring dining options, or assisting in arranging taxi or shuttle services. The breakfast has tempting options. Our room was comfortable, clean, and looked nice.

I stayed for three nights at the Sweet Home Hotel. The location is excellent: only a 5 min walk from Syntagma Metro Station. You have all important places in Walking distance. Restaurants are nearby. Already at Check In I was warmly welcomed. Tina supported me with all my special requests. The breakfast was excellent: Everything was homemade. My room (101 Basic Room) was small but comfortable and clean. A little less daylight fell in. There was only the outside air condition the disturbed me during the night. It is placed next to the window.

Perfect in Athens center

We had a perfect one stay in this hotel. The localisation is perfect, great and safe area. Near from the touristic places. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really good with homemade Greek specialties and other really nice things. I would defiantly recommend this hotel. The staff was really nice and welcoming as well.
